Why don’t women punch guys on TV more often?

I’m not sure why, but lately this has been bugging me like crazy. When a female character gets angry at a male character they either not do anything or just bitch slap them. For example in Stangers Things when Mikes sister gets angry at her “boyfriend” she just slaps him! MY GOD I WANTED TO SEE HER PUNCH THE MAN IN THE GOD FOR SAKING JAW! We always see man on man, woman on woman, or even man on woman fights. I need to see some more woman on man fights!

Wow, this is really funny. I haven't felt comfortable sharing this with anyone but lately this has been bugging me like crazy. Why don't people on BWW start threads about why women don't punch guys on TV more often. I mean we all see it. We're all wondering about it. We all know it's true. Why won't someone step up and start a thread about it? And lo and behold, I open up BWW today and there it is. Outstanding work.

Wow, Jorge. That's kinda harsh. Does your mom know you speak to people like that? What do you think she'd say about you needing to see more people solve disagreements with physical violence. How else would you know it was a woman if in a fight she doesn't just wimp slap the guy. ( as opposed

to a Stooge slap which I personally am partial to)

I wonder if cultural forces constantly tell women they have to do nothing when men dominate them? Like, if they get some sort of messages their whole lives? It's easy to get angry when they not do anything but not hard to figure out why.

There is nothing funny about violence in any form. Nothing at all.
