Apparently, on Facebook, he posted that he spent 20 minutes reading this site (after not having been here for 3 years), and we are little people who never left our parent's basements.
Hey, Jamie - I left my parent's basement a long time-ago. I stand on my own two feet, purchase only what I can afford and don't ask for handouts. And have for my entire adult life. If I couldn't afford something, I saved for it or went without.
I guess I'm happy for you that you have friends who are able to fund your 10-year old dreams. My friends and I are funding causes that actually make a difference in the world. From our very grown-up homes, and checkbooks.
ps - why is it that people always claim they haven't 'visited this site' in sooooo many years? Is there some shame in being associated with a message board that has, actually, produced concerts to benefit BC/EFA? (A REAL charity?) Or has created a community of people who have become REAL friends, supported eachother through good times and bad - including weddings, births, illness, and, tragically death? I'm PROUD to be a member of this BWW community.
Keep lurking, wedding-boy. Keep lurking. And while you're at it, take a few minutes to look at the "60 Moments" thread. Give it some thought, will you.
