Who's ready for snow? Not me. I'm in the 6-10 inch range. That's really insane for it being only October.

Saturday: Rain, mainly after 8am. High near 45. Breezy, with a north wind between 14 and 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Saturday Night: Rain and snow, becoming all snow after midnight. Low around 29. Blustery, with a north wind between 17 and 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 46. West wind between 10 and 14 mph.

I moved to NYC in March from the SF Bay Area. I'm totally acting 1/5 my age. I've never been outside in a snowfall before! I've only walked in snow about 5 times in my life! AHHHH.

At least the city isn't supposed to get hit as hard as my area. Now they upped it to 7-13 inches. This is Northwest NJ, not Michigan or Colorado or places like that.

Edit-Checked again. 8-14 inches. We have a warning now too.

Where I live in Connecticut we are expecting 6-10 inches. Very grey outside and chilly.We have tons of leaves still in trees and after today we'll have snow.Usually rake once before Halloween and again right before Thanksgiving. Have not raked once this year.I just hope this does not mean we are going to have a snow storm every week or so from now until March.

Snowing here in Hells Kitchen, as well. I was reading the other day how we should expect twice as much snow this winter as later year. YIKES.

I live in Essex County, NJ, and this morning we were forecast for 2-4 inches overnight. Well, the snow started just after noon, and we already have about 4 inches, and the forecast has been bumped up to 6-10. It looks like we'll be on the high end of that, at least. The snow is VERY WET and VERY HEAVY, and there are already many tree limbs down, including a huge limb in our front yard. Fortunately, no injury or damages.

Yeah. Wet, heavy snow. Cold seeping through the windows. Feels like January. Wonder what's up with the weather lately. It was 84 degrees a couple of weeks ago.

its still just slush in Brooklyn and I was supposed to go to a dinner party on West 39th. I called and didn't get the organizer so I assumed she was on the way in. I got on the elevated Q and four stops later she called to say the party was cancelled. I'm actually happy now because its so cold and disgusting out..
