I was reading that they just shoot "Eating Out 2" as cute as the guys were. It was painful to watch. Any other really bad gay movie comes to mind?
Adam & Eve was even worst than Eating Out, now that i think of, and it didn't even have cute guys in it.

Eating Out (the little sister of the straight guy was the only good part "Fag, you're it, no fagbacks")
Latter Days (although the song that the female character writes was good)
Lonely Hearts Club
You mean Broken Hearts Club? or there's actually a movie called Lonely Hearts Club as well?
Yeah, Latter Days was pretty cliche. But i have a friend that is infatuated with it, and he thinks is one of the best movies out there. Don't know why though.

yeah broken heart's club, that movie was irritating.
Brokeback Mountain.
(jk!)
I agree with Latter Days.
One of my favorites is TRICK, starring Tori Spelling.
if you think THESE movies are bad, you obviously haven't seen GODS OF OLYMPIA. i added it to my dvd collection just because it was so bad. i don't know HOW it got released to the public.

BROKEN HEARTS CLUB is worth seeing for DEAN CAIN and MICHAEL BERGIN in bed.
LATTER DAYS is worth seeing for STEVE SANDVOSS and WES RAMSEY in bed.
EATING OUT is worth seeing for RYAN CARNES and SCOTT LUNSFORD kissing ... not to mention the JO scene.
ok, just call me puriently puerile...
oh god 'eating out' was the worst, except for 'tiffany' SHE was awesome.
It's My Party. The trailer looked so good, but I spent the whole movie wanting to claw my face off from boredom.
Every lesbian movie.
Every single one.

I saw "It's My Party" at an artsy theatre in Chicago when it was in first-run release. For those who haven't seen it (Lucky bitches!) it's about an AIDS patient who throws a big farewell party for himself before he kills himself. During the scene were he decides to postpone his suicide for a little bit longer, a man in the theater screamed out "OH MY GOD will this movie never end??? GET ON WITH IT, Motherf*cker!!!!"
I think that sums it up nicely.
Rath I do recall "Personal Best" with fondness-- but maybe it's because Brooke Shields looked so much like a teenage boy.
Aw, Rath, there are some decent lesbian flicks out there. Bound was fantastic, and it’s been years since I’ve seen it, but I remember enjoying Desert Hearts.
And then there’s...actually, those may be the only two good lesbian movies (did you ever try to sit through Claire of the Moon?).
Yes, I have sat through that dreck and plenty of others.
I do love Desert Hearts, but I've had many lesbians tell me it's not a "real" lesbian movie, so whatever.
Party Monster. Yeesh.
Better Than Chocolate was a runner-up, but it was saved by the "I'm Not A F*cking Drag Queen" number.

anything that presents "gay" as a lifestyle that can be bought & paid for....
you know, where the filmmakers are going thru a checklist: "ok, the right shoes, the right hair, the right neighborhood, the right income...& he right music!!!"
& the cast all looks like cookie-cutter-catalog boys.
brokeback mountain. Not joking

Is Velvet Goldmine considered a gay movie? If so, I really don't have much experience with gay movies at all, I've only seen a couple, but I've seen ones much better than the weirdness that was Velvet Goldmine. Or was that the point of the movie?
Yes, I'll save my Testosterone DVD forever too for that reason! My teenage crsuh on Antonio Sabato Jr. is the reason I knew I was gay. He is SO HOT!
I actually enjoyed Testosterone, the leading actor was gorgeous, and Jennifer Coolidge was hilarious. Plus they showed a lot of Buenos Aires, so it was entertaining to see that city. Coolidge stole the movie with her "I'll shave my ****" comment.
