Simply because of his reputation, I have to go with Lord Olivier in THE JAZZ SINGER (with his 'performance' in DRACULA as a close second.)
The Rock in any movie he's been in.

Helena Bonham Carter in PLANET OF THE APES-- "MUST you always be so DIFFICULT???!!!"

Keanu Reeves in anything, but most particularly in BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA and the unspeakable SWEET NOVEMBER.
Mos Def in HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY. Appalling.
John Wayne in THE QUIET MAN.
The Princess Bride guy, who's name I can't even be bothered to remember, in Saw and Julia Roberts in The Pelican Brief.
Britney Spears in Crossroads.
I liked J Lo in "Shall We Dance". I thought she brought alot to that film. Keanu is in a class by himself. (he is hot, though)

Oh, that's sad.
The entire cast of LOST HORIZON (the musical remake.)
Jamie Foxx in DREAMGIRLS
John Travolta in HAIRSPRAY
Natalie Portman in any Star Wars movie.
She sucked the air out of the universe.

Anyone of the So called acting performances in High School Musical & High School Musical 2.
Eva Mendes in Ghost Rider. Awful movie, but all I can remember is being amazed that anyone would put what she did on film and charge money for it.

Elizabeth Ashley in WINDOWS. Anyone ever see this piece of tripe? She plays a repressed lesbian who pays a street thug to rape Talia Shire and tape record the experience, so she can listen to the tape and get off afterward (she's in love with Talia.) The "climax" has her whispering "Please, don't hurt me" over and over again while running her hands through her hair and over her body. I don't know when I've been so embarrassed. (Then again, who could have made that work?)
Rosalind Russell in "Gypsy"
Julia Roberts in ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!
I think John Travolta gave one of the best acting performances in Hairspray oddly enough. I appreciated the fact he tried to play a read woman. I found him oddly touching.
"Tub of lard"
Wow, it's one thing to not like her acting ability. It's quite another...
Speaking of Hairspray, I personally thought Nikki Blonsky was its weak link. She had a nice singing voice, I didn't care for her acting. I wouldn't nominate her for worst performance of all time by any stretch though...

Hayden Christensen as Annakin Skywalker. Pathetic. Whiny highschoolkid dreck.
That girl who played Bryan Brown's sidekick in F/X...anyone remember her? She HAD to have blown the producer.
Halle Berry in the first X-MEN.
Ali MacGraw in anything.
Many of Candace Bergen's early performances before she discovered comedy.
Jack Nicholson in GOIN' SOUTH.
Winona 'n' Keanu in DRACULA.
Pat 'n' Keanu in POINT BREAK.
Meg Ryan in IN THE CUT.
Ariane in YEAR OF THE DRAGON.
Lori Petty's career-ender in TANK GIRL.
Corey Haim in just about anything (ugh, that mouth constantly hanging open! At least Feldman had some energy).

Helena Bonham Carter in SWEENEY TODD, and I don't want to hear it. She didn't "re-invent" anything--unless sucking all the life, color, and humor out of the role counts as "re-invention". There was no contrast with Sweeney, no foil--we were stuck watching TWO brooding, demented, lost-in-their-own-worlds ghouls for two hours. Not to mention that horrid "singing" voice--it reminded me of the (dubbed) castrato-like singing voice for Mark Lester in the movie of OLIVER, although a lot less on pitch. And she was the one who took VOICE LESSONS???? Was Toni Collette really worse than THIS???????????!!!!!!!!
