I don't remember it being done, but I think it's quite interesting ! We all watch a lot of TV and I am sure we have all seen guys in series, that are really close to our ideal of a boyfriend, for numbers of reasons.
So I think it would be an interesting poll to see
WHICH TV CHARACTER WOULD BE YOUR DREAM BOYFRIEND ????
For me it's easy. Logan Huntzberger from Gilmore Girls. Gorgeous, exactly my type physically, smart, educated, fun, polite, interesting, tender, well dressed, loving, devoted and soooo there for his loved one, always. I was furious and HATED Rory for letting such a wonderful guy go !!! I'd kill to have a guy like that loving me so much !!
So, come on, which one made you go Awwwww ????

As cliched as it sounds, Mr.Big from SEX & THE CITY: old-school sexy, good in bed, elegant, a Park Avenue apt., charming, and masculine. There's always Steve from the same show as well.
I'd also add Claire's Republican boyfriend at the end of SIX FEET UNDER because he was interesting and fun to argue with.
Then there's Rob Lowe's gay brother in BROTHERS & SISTERS...look at me, I'm a TV boyfriend whore.

Posted: 6/24/07 at 9:25pmI'll have to second Mr. Big. He had that classic Hollywood, leading-man charm that I can't resist.

Nick from Freaks and Geeks. Or Marshall on How I Met Your Mother. Essentially, nearly anyone Jason Segel plays.
I wouldn't have minded Logan Echolls (VM) either, at least for a month or so. Love Admiral Moneybags.

Dr. McDreamy, please. Gorgeous, smart, attentive, AND he could save me, were I drowning or being blown up by oh, I don't know, a bomb in some guy's chest! Obviously the perfect guy.
And don't let me forget to mention the hair...

Growing up, I fantasized about dating Mike Seaver.
Now, I'd have to go with McDreamy, too. Mmmm.

Mike Seaver grew up to be a WHACKO Republican!

You've all hit my ideal guys:
David from Eight is Enough
Steve from Sex and the City (David Eigenberg is also a good tipper, I waited on him once.)
But I must add:
Michael Fairgate from Knot's Landing (Pat Peterson)
and Dean from the Gilmore Girls (Jared Padalecki)
I love those sensitive types.

No love for Seth Cohen? Or Will Truman? All of my dream TV boyfriends are no longer on the air. Haha.
Or Marc from "Ugly Betty" - actually would be a horrible boyfriend, but he's just so cute!

See, part of me really really really thinks Dr. Wilson from 'House'. He's hot, he's smart, he's accepting, he's *whispers* GREAT in bed *ahem*, but he is also, as demonstrated several times throughout the series, not the ideal boyfriend to have. He's on his third wife, he very subtly emotionally manipulates women into falling for him, his best friend is ... well, HOUSE. :P So he'd be a bad bad boyfriend to have. But at the same time, I don't really care. If I wanted something longterm, I'd steer well clear.
Then part of me thinks Henry from 'Ugly Betty' because he's just so freakin' adorable! Sweet, attentive, honourable... but he's *so* sweet that I can't really bring myself to factor sex into the relationship.
Not that I have a one-track mind or anything... ^_^

Weez, I feel the same way about Henry, yes he is extremely adorable and good-looking but so nice that I couldn't bring myself to think of him that way and the IDEAL boyfriend should have that side covered as well.
I also choose Cole from CHARMED played by the hot and sexy Julian McMahon.
