Maybe because Bernie Sanders voted AGAINST the Brady Act, which mandated federal background checks for gun purchasers and restricted felons’ access to firearms.
Or maybe because Bernie Sanders voted with the 2005 Republican-dominated Congress to pass the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, which doesn’t even protect his constituent Vermont gun owners. No, it protects gun manufacturers. It protects gun distributors. It protects gun dealers. It protects gun importers. It was the number-one legislative priority of the National Rifle Association for years, until the NRA got a Republican majority.
With the help of gun-loving Bernie Sanders.

Funny that Sanders has an F rating from the NRA if he is such a crazy gun lover.
And that's what you call "biting your head off"? Lol. I've said before gun control is one of the issues where I don't agree with Sanders 100%. And although I don't agree with him, I appreciate he answers questions and tells you where he stands, like he does with every issue. Unlike Hillary Clinton, who can't, because she doesn't want to make her corporate donors mad.

Anyway...let's add a column to Borstal's graphic for the Brady bill and put Sanders as opposed and Clinton as supports. That only leaves the Iraq war, wall street bailout, patriot act, patriot act reauthorization, TPP, keystone pipeline, border fence, off shore oil drilling, and Super PACs where Hillary is on the wrong side of the issues.

The controversy has intensified partly because Clinton has revised her statements about the sensitivity of the material. In March, when reports surfaced that Clinton handled her email through a private server, she insisted that none of her exchanges dealt with national security secrets. “There is no classified material,” Clinton declared. Now, she carefully says they were not classified at the time or bore no classification markings.
However, over time, the list of messages deemed classified by the State Department has grown as the agency reviewed batches of the messages for public release. Clinton turned over about 30,000 emails — totalling 55,000 pages— to State last December, and the agency first reported in May that it had found one classified document. By June, the number grew to 26. In July, the figure was revised to 63.

The tally is expected to rise further. The agency is still going through Clinton emails and releasing sets of them each month in compliance with a judge’s order. So far, only 11.7 percent of the 55,000 pages of emails have been released in response to pending Freedom of Information Act lawsuits. (Clinton also erased a roughly equal number of messages her lawyers deemed personal. The FBI is reportedly trying to reconstruct those from her server.)

She could have avoided all of this if she would have just used the e-mail server she was supposed to use. She opened herself up to scrutiny regardless if she wasn't trying to hide anything so now she has to just grin and bear it.

Could we please count denial as a mental illness?? It's detrimental to the good judgement, logic, reasoning and sanity of many individuals; including those who blindly follow and worship a corrupt politician amassing a fortune worth hundreds of millions of dollars through backdoor deals with lobbyists, and under-the-table arrangements with major corporations and foreign nations.

Honestly, I doubt any of them--yes, PJ, even Saint Hillary--could succeed in rinsing Congress of ties to the NRA. Obama said as much in his excellent interview on WTF with Marc Maron.

I think the Sanders campaign is a much needed discussion that may have not happened if he didn't run, you can't be against that. Am I the equivalent of a Trump supporter on the left? Or is it going to be after all this folderol the Bush/Clinton thing?
