With numbers like these Clinton better book herself on the show...stat!
Hillary Clinton's favorability numbers have gone under water.
"Americans' views on Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton have gone under water, nearing an all-time low in ABC News/Washington Post polling, according to the latest survey released Wednesday.
Clinton is seen favorably by 45 percent of Americans, a decrease of 7 percentage points since July, while 53 percent said they did not have a favorable view of the former secretary of state, an increase of 8 percentage points in the same time frame. The numbers are close to Clinton's all-time low in the poll, when she took in just 44 percent in the spring of 2008."

Polling Trajectory Shows Bernie Sanders Winning the Democratic Nomination. It's Time for America to Notice.
"According to HuffPost Pollster, Clinton's lead over Sanders among Democrats was an astounding 60.1 percent to a mere 4.9 percent on March 2, 2016. By August 26, 2015Bernie Sanders surged all the way to 23.4 percent while Clinton fell to 47.1 percent. America should finally start to notice a political "revolution" in the making, especially since most Americans still don't know much about Sanders, yet he still continues to rise in the polls.
Once he's given the attention he deserves from media and political pundits, Bernie Sanders will become even more popular among voters. In a matter of months, hesurpassed Clinton in New Hampshire. Sanders is now within 7 points of Clinton in Iowa and the Vermont "socialist" beats Trump easily in a general election. While Sanders has drawn crowds totaling over 100,000 people, Hillary Clinton is forced to discuss the FBI's investigation of her emails. In terms of momentum, which is the most important aspect of ever-changing polls, Bernie Sanders is on his way to overtaking a Clinton campaign embroiled in controversy."
That's one of the dumbest political columns I've ever read. With a year to the convention and 4 months to the general election, any negative tick in polling can be construed as a losing trajectory.
I get that Hillary Clinton is still the likely nominee. Even though it depresses me and makes me want to move to Sweden with JerseyGirl. I know that Bernie Sanders is a long shot.
What I didn't expect is that Sanders would surge this early and this big. With virtually no name recognition and without unlimited funding. And there are still over 400 days until the election. I think that's pretty impressive.
And while I still think Clinton is the likely nominee, I no longer think she's the inevitable nominee.
Our presidential electoral process is an absolute disaster, and it's only getting worse. It's 2015, and yet we still elect our president as if it's the early 1800s. We no longer need the electoral college, and we certainly don't need a prolonged primary process, especially one where a handful of small, non-representative states eliminate most of the candidates. All we're doing now is giving candidates the opportunity to put their foot in their mouth, and to provide fodder for their opponents' future commercials.

Agreed!
Looks like we'll know Biden's decision soon...

Plus, has anyone else noticed that all Bernie does is complain? He never actually does anything or sponsors legislation that changes things.
He's just an old kvetch. A complainer. He's just old kvetchy Uncle Bernie, who you avoid at Passover dinner, because you know he's going to buttonhole you and say, "You wanna know what's wrong with the world nowadays? THIS is wrong. And THIS is wrong. And THIS is wrong. And you know what else is wrong? THIS is wrong. THAT'S what's wrong."
But he never does anything about anything.

That'd be asking a leopard to change his spots. And to be fair, he's from Vermont. What exactly is there to do? Other than maybe reparations for the eugenics, of course.

But Bernie is the candidate our candidate why do you talk about him like that?
Yup. At least that is how he comes thru to me.

He'd love to really he would but he can't because not enough of you support him. It's like Tinkerbell without applause.
PJ, Smokey, can you explain to me how the only man brave enough to call himself a Socialist would get a single thing done on his agenda if he didn't have the executive office. Like Bernie Sanders is supposed to "do something" without any backing in Congress. For the first time in my life a person is saying the things I believe in, and means it. For the first time a person is running for president with schlepps like me sending him $5 a month. For the first time since I can remember the issues he talks about are being talked about. PJ, you're no longer a Jew to me.
PJ, you're no longer a Jew to me.
Oh, do calm down.
Happy to see the country slowly opening itself up to Bernie. Even if he doesn't win the nomination, the idealism--oh, that dirty word!--he has inspired on both sides is something to be reckoned with and will cast an imposing shadow over everything that happens in the next year.
Borstal, exactly, you put it eloquently. I was kidding PJ, I'm not Jewish.
I'm thinking Biden is gonna announce and that would throw this race into something excellent.

Clinton is unfit for public office. Period. Frankly, I'm hoping the rumors about Gore entering the race are true. Then it would be a real party.

I clicked on that link and this came up:
ZERO made into law.
So, back to my question: What has he ever DONE except kvetch, kvetch, kvetch, kvetch?
If I wanted to hear an old Jew kvetching, I could go up to Riverdale and volunteer at the Hebrew Home for the Aged.
If I want to bust up GOP gridlock, I'mma call Hillary Clinton.

Hot!
PJ...I'm guessing you didn't bother to look up Hillary Clinton's record on the same site?
Here it is:

So in two terms Hillary Clinton sponsored two bills compared Bernie Sanders 21 and she co sponsored just 17 bills compared to his 108! Hillary ranks 49/100 and 95/100 compared to Bernie's 46/100 nd 61/100.
Seems Sanders spent more time doing something than Clinton. .
