Hillary makes a lot of liberals who think Hillary should be punished unhappy. They just can't agree on what it is she needs to be punished for, only that it needs to happen.

She gave a very moving and intelligent speech about the price of shame, cyber bullying, trolling, and how the internet is open to any fool with a pc or keyboard and how hurtful things live forever. Every click we make online is tracked and used for advertising and other uses and people profit from this type of public shaming. She spoke of the teen Tyler Clemente that killed himself after he was filmed with another man, (by his college roommate). It was not what I expected at all, and though the timing is suspect, she said it's not political, she just had to speak up now about how bad this problem has gotten. She has paid a price that not many people have had to do. I don't think she plans on saying anything about HC and vice versa. Her words really made me think.

(Short Ans) It's been suggested by some that Linda's machinations kept Monica alive. Monica was a loose cannon.
I now feel even more sorry for Monica because she hit the scene so full of youthful hubris not realizing that she was swimming with sharks. Linda recognized that Monica was as dumb as a box of rocks at the time, had a predilection for married men, and embroiled in a scandal that could bring in the mother lode.
Cunningness and manipulation are highly regarded in this town where ruining powerful politicos of the opposing party is considered sport. Linda tried to pimp out Monica to Ken Starr but any mall lawyer would have known better than to build a case around Monica's credibility back then . Ken Starr & Linda Tripp came very close to rewriting history. He was aiming for the Supreme Court and she FoxNews.

I also believe that Monica was too much ahead of her time. Nineties-era slut-shaming has lost most of its bite. Today, that sort of notoriety is priceless. Just imagine Kris Jenner's handling of the situation if one of her daughters found herself in Monica's predicament.
As to be expected, Linda Tripp has resumed trashing Hillary's name at every turn to anyone still willing to listen.

Perhaps Linda & Monica have set differences aside and secretly joined forces. After all, Monica got neither the man nor a real career for her part in all of it. A family member suggests that both have crawled out of their burrows to renegotiate their rumored hush money settlements.

He did what he could with the most combative congress in recent memory, for sure. I'm sure Bernie will, too (if he won), but I have yet to see anyone articulate what makes Bernie so different (save for how he collects money). Answers from anyone but South Florida will be considered.

Obama has been a fantastic president, though it looks like no one from either party, or even the media, is willing to admit it. Given the condition of the country when he took office, where we are today is truly remarkable. Is it perfect? No, far from it. But I hope whoever wins the Dem nomination has the courage not to run away from his accomplishments, and I hope the media has the courage to actually report facts, and not to echo GOP talking points.
