I would love to see who Bernie Sanders appointed to the Supreme Court.
I'd love to see Elizabeth Warren on the SCOTUS.

Anyone who says it doesn't matter who is elected just isn't paying attention.
It doesn't matter who is elected because the next appointees will just be part of another massive 'pay-for-play' system. That is what I was eluding to. They're all corrupt cronies... from Roberts to Ginsberg.
Do your research and discover the hidden ties between the Presidents and their SCOTUS appointments; ranging from childhood friends and campaign donation bundlers to personal attorneys and campaign policy advisors. It is not about the qualifications. It's about what they have done for that President in a "former life."
Don't talk trash about the Notorious R.B. G.
I agree that Obama's picks for the court are better than what we would have gotten with Romney or McCain.
I don't have the same confidence in Hillary Clinton.

I don't know. But judging from her record I wouldn't be surprised if it was another corporatist.
She consistently sides with big money and Wall Street. There's no reason to believe she wouldn't appoint someone to the Supreme Court that does the same.
“As for President Obama, I would imagine he’s looking forward to retiring from public life and taking a rest. I know my husband wanted a short break after his eight years in the White House, before starting the Clinton Global Initiative. As for Barack, though, I would of course consider him for the Supreme Court. I believe he would make a great justice, and he’s certainly qualified for the role. No US President has ever gone to the Supreme Court, nor has any individual ever served in all three branches of our government, so it would be unprecedented. But I agree; he’d definitely make for a great Supreme Court Justice, at a time when we need those seats filled with strong independent minds.”

A new NBC News poll reveals that the Republican attempts to stop Hillary Clinton have failed as the Democratic frontrunner leads every Republican presidential candidate.

It's almost as if you're trying to disprove the theory that all politicians are exactly the same.
Friends, we need Ruth to retire. PJ, you crazy optimist, love you bro.
That same NBC poll shows only 23% of respondents find Hillary Clinton trustworthy. That's pretty horrible.
That Daily Beast article made me LOL. It's as if her record doesn't exist. Or as if she's still not taking boatloads of cash from Goldman Sachs.

Sanders has your vote, get it, mine too.
My cocktail hour starts early also.
Especially on Cinco de Mayo!
Here's something Hillary said yesterday that I like and think she might actually follow through with if she became President.

I agree that she has a strong and consistent track record on Immigration, which is a refreshing change for Hillary, but these comments made on CNN last summer were alarming and I know many Immigration activism groups who pushed back... and pushed back hard.

I can tell absolutely no difference between Ben Carson and Hilary Clinton. When I look at them, I am unable to tell them apart. They are exactly the same.
Hill is more of a Claire Underwood than a Ben Carson.

If they are both accepting support from major PAC's and/or Wall St cronies, then yes. They are the same. They are both corrupt.
"That same NBC poll shows only 23% of respondents find Hillary Clinton trustworthy. That's pretty horrible."
Actually, it's not horrible at all. What's horrible is that people find NO politicians trustworthy. But that's been true since, I dunno, the Eisenhower administration.
But you can't look at one line in a poll, because that's just one question, phrased in a certain way. A poll includes a dozen or more questions, intended to get true reactions and not just immediate responses.
If you look at Hillary's positive/negative ratio in that same poll, she breaks even at 42% positive, 42% negative. While that's down from 44/36 before the false charges in the scurrilous book were circulated, she's still way ahead among Democrats, where her score is 81% positive to 6% negative.
That's only 6% of Democrats have a negative opinion of her. They have big mouths and media presence but they're a small minority of voting Democrats. That 81/6 ratio is not very different from before the attack book came out, when it was 82/4.
When you compare that horrible 23% to how people feel about the Republican candidates, it still exceeds their favorable/unfavorable scores:
Marco Rubio: 22% positive, 23% negative
Scott Walker: 15% positive, 17% negative
Rand Paul: 23% positive, 28% negative
Jeb Bush: 23% positive, 36% negative
Her closest competition is the one Republican who is the most hated by the moneyed Republicans:
Rand Paul: 47% to 43%
And while that 23% (actually 25%) trustworthiness sounds low, it was one of six questions:
51%: being knowledgeable and experienced enough to handle the presidency
44%: being effective and getting things done
43%: being compassionate enough to understand average people
35%: bringing real change to the direction of the country
35%: sharing your positions on the issues:
25%: being honest and straightforward
Not many politicians would score higher.
How did Obama score on the trustworthy question in 2008 when he ran against Hillary?
I wonder what Bernie Sanders numbers on trust will look when more people get to know him.
"That's only 6% of Democrats have a negative opinion of her."
Which is horribly depressing considering her dismal record. Pro NAFTA, pro "welfare reform", in favor of the disasterous 90's crime bill, pro Iraq war, a record of pushing fracking on vunerable countries while she was secretary of State, being in favor of the TPP while she was Secretary of State, and by all accounts being the most hawkish member of the Obama administration.
But too many people think of politics as a team sport in this country and blindly vote for whoever has the right letter after their name. Now matter how horrible of a candidate they may be.
