and before my grandfather passed away he was papa.
on both sides, we just call cousins by their first names.

Mom: Mum, sometimes Mom, occasionally Mama (as in Mama, with the second syllable stressed).

My grandparents are Grandmother and Granddaddy / Grandma and Grandpa
When my sister got married and gained a stepdaughter we decided that my parents will be Grandpa and Nana (but for a while my niece called her Nanner I so wanted to see that stick)
