The "Super Freak" dance from Little Miss Sunshine. It's such a wonderful way to show how the characters have changed through the course of the movie, and I don't think I've ever seen anybody have that much fun dancing as those five people.

Whitey's Lindyhoppers in HELLZAPOPPIN' (1941).
The most explosive dance number I've ever seen. (It starts about 2:30 in)
"It might turn INTO somethin'!"
There are SO many great ones to name.
But the one I always come back to is "Begin the Beguine" from Broadway Melody of 1940. Fred Astaire and Eleanor Powell. Perfect set, perfect costumes, perfectly filmed. A perfect tap number from a pair of perfect dancers.
I'd say Moses Supposes from Singin' In the Rain is my favourite.
Begin the Beguine is as great as most of that film is lousy. That's pretty damned great!
Definately the barn raising in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Shall We Dance.

*The dance at the gym-- West Side Story
*Cooper's Ballet-- Center Stage
*The entirety of The Company
*Make 'Em Laugh-- Singin' in the Rain
*I can't remember the name of the song but it's from The Band Wagon with Fred Astaire and Cyd Charisse. She's wearing a white dress and I believe they are in a park. It's absolutely gorgeous.
Wasn't that "Dancing in the Dark"?

Get Happy- Judy Garland "A Star is Born"
Oh my God, I just saw the clip for "Good Mornin'" in SINGIN' IN THE RAIN and I think I counted about 7 or 8 cuts in the whole sequence. That is pretty impressive for a musical number, especially such an incredibly elaborate one. Today there are about 8 cuts in a 20 second timeframe.
Apart from some mentioned on here, "Make 'Em Laugh" from SINGIN' IN THE RAIN is one of my favorite dance scenes from a movie musical. Donald O'Connor is just too good.
