I can't answer.
I have an entire wall covered with pictures of inspiring theatre people. Granted, not all are actors, but the majority are.

Sutton Foster is def. one for me. She came from a small city in GA(like me) and is doing what I want to do(dance on Broadway). I also have two friends that are working in NY right now that I look up to because they came from my area.
Sarah Uriarte Berry is defintely one, because she rose up from being incredibly poor to starring on Broadway, as you can read in Making It On Broadway.
M - Brian Stokes Mitchell. I saw him in Man of La Mancha and oh my god..it was amazing
F - Sandra Joseph
Honorable Mentions
Sutton Foster
Tom Hanks. Did you see his performance in Philadelphia? Simply breathtaking.
Norbert Leo Butz just because i'm from the St. Louis area and he got out of here and made it to New York.
Patti Lupone is such an inspiring person whom I would love to meet. She's such an intelligent woman and appears to just be a wonderful person.
Alan Menken is the songwriter I am most enthralled with however.

This is too hard to name only two, but I'll say Chita Rivera and Judy Kuhn for simular reasons:
Chita Rivera is from my hometown and originaly studied to be a dancer. Dance, out of the three components of musical theatre, is the one I'm the best at and have been doing for the longest. Knowing that she came where I am from and became one of the biggest stars on Broadway is a huge inspiration
Judy Kuhn is an alum of my high school. Since she was pretty much in the same situation as I am now, (except she was probably more talented) she really does give me hope that I can make it on Broadway.
Julie Andrews. She's just perfection to me...and I'm sure one of the sweetest, most down-to-earth actresses out there.

M: Anthony Perkins
F: I know this sounds lame but if you saw Inside the Actors Studio you might agree Liza with Z!
ashley0139... I totally agree on the Robin Williams thing. He definitely is a talented actor.
Yeah, I agree with justagirl2 on Julie Andrews.
Somehow, our little book center got her to make an appearance and do a book signing. So we (my family and I) spoke with her for a few minutes about...everything, basically. Unfortunately, she wasn't doing pictures, but she was SO SWEET.
Karmine Alers is also very inspirational to me. As is Sutton Foster.
Males...umm...Joel Grey? I LOVE Joel Grey. With a passion.
