I wish that I was able to articulate myself as well as you all are able to. In fear of losing what's already been said in other people's posts, or rambling on trying to find a right way to word myself, I will simply say that I really agree with the sentiments shown on this thread by people such as Chica, Fantab, Em, and AspiringActress (sorry to have left anybody out if I did). It's sad that when people seek out drama to begin, an actor has to be thrown into the mix, when he has no control over what a fan will say. I believe it was Em who posted on another board the example of Idina Menzel. Yes, she has a huge fan following, and yes, some of them are a bit...overwhelming, but that shouldn't effect her reputation as a performer. It's sad that people seem to now overlook her due to this. I would be very upset if the same thing happened to Manoel.
I totally went ahead and did exactly what I said I was NOT going to do in my first sentence. Oops.

Posted: 6/12/06 at 8:31pmLiz, you brought up a really good point. Although I don't believe that Mano's fan base is quite as large as Idina's, they're both in similar situations. I think that he has a few fans that don't like him for the right reasons, and they make everyone else look down on us, and in turn, Mano.

I've never been genuinely angry at BWW until last night. It really upsets me that Mano's name is now being associated with so much negativity.
I don't have anything else to say without being repetitive, but I had to let that out.
(In other, more random news, 17-year-old brothers are a very strange species. Mine kind of smells.)
