Aaron Tveit does NOT need to win a Tony. For what? Being a replacement in Wicked and having one good performance in a good show? So many of the other people mentioned on this thread deserve it SO much more.
I'm a professional. Whenever something goes wrong on stage, I know how to handle it so no one ever remembers. I flash my %#$&.

When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

I would certainly agree with Julie Andrews, John McMartin, and Jane Greenwood. Especially Greenwood.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

I absolutely agree with all of those above listed, with the exception of one. Judy Kuhn has a gorgeous voice, but she uses WAY too much vibrato for my taste. When she sang in the Les Mis 10th Annv. DVD, she sang fine because vibrato is meant for that type of soprano. Chess? Needs to be more pop.

I always thought it was ridiculous that Kelli O'Hara lost to Sara Ramirez - as good as she was - Kelli was giving the most ravishing performance.... ever. I'd love to see Kelli win soon. She is going to end up being a Broadway legend. She's got the chops for it. The next Barbara Cook, perhaps?
