So far I am seeing She Loves Me, Tuck Everlasting, Wicked, and I'll Say She Is. I have room for one more, a Sunday matinee. I was thinking Waitress or Les Miserable, because I'm a fan of Le Mis, but I like modern musicals like Waitress as well. Any ideas? Just FYI, I've already seen Something Rotten and Fun Home (loved them!) Also, nothing that is going on tour. I live in a city where tours often stop. If posts like this don't belong on this site, please tell me and I'll delete immediately, I just needed advice.
The Color Purple, if nothing else to see one of the greatest performances in recent memory. The entire production is terrific too, so I'd definitely recommend that one!

She Loves Me. Tuck Everlasting was one of my least favorite offerings of the season.
Have you seen Les Miz on Broadway before? If not, then go now before it closes.
Otherwise, I'd honestly also go with The Color Purple. There's an all but assured Tony-winning turn on Erivo's part happening on that stage every night. Don't miss it.

Also, I believe OP said he/she is already seeing both shows, bwayphreak.
I'm glad you're seeing I'll Say She Is! The Marx Brothers live! ![]()
I would second The Color Purple.
I enjoyed Dear Evan Hansen but it's hard to get tickets. Roundabout's Robber Bridegroom (off Broadway) is wonderful fun, and Steven Pasquale is his usual awesome self. I'm making a repeat visit on Sunday.
And I know it's been savaged on this board (and by some critics), but if you're in the mood for some silly, goofy fun that's very well performed, Disaster will deliver!
If you can't get a ticket The Color Purple, I recommend Bright Star or School of Rock.

Definitely COLOR PURPLE.
(unless a pair of Hamilton tickets descend from the sky and land in your pocket....)

Was just in New York last week and saw 8 shows. My favorite 3 were Color Purple, American Psycho and Bright Star! I'd go with Color Purple or Bright Star, they were both great. Color Purple will move you to tears!
The Color Purple, Bright Star or Shuffle Along.
Interesting that you have WICKED listed as a show you are seeing. Have the tours not come to your city?

I just found out that Waitress is actually going on a national tour, so this may sway my decision a bit. I have not seen any production of Le Mis yet, but I think if I went I'd only go because it's closing.

I just saw Tuck Everlasting on its last preview. I enjoyed it way more than I expected to after reading a lot of negative comments.
wicked continues to tour and tour and tour...see a new broadway show
I would go with Bright Star or Daddy Long Legs Off-Broadway. Just came home from seeing Daddy for the 4th time, it doesn't get old and is just so beautiful. But it being an intimate off-Broadway show it's something you'll only be able to experience in New York. Bright Star was also beautiful!
If you've never seen Les Mis I would also highly recommend seeing that at some point. It's a classic and and incredibly show. However, I know people who have said this revival is not as good as the original production that's still playing in London. I didn't see it here, only in London, so I can't judge the production. But the show itself is awesome!
