Oh I’m a big fan of the Divine Ms. M and I even went back to watch her again (second time was a standing room only though hahaha I’m poor).  Though I did enjoy it and would rank it higher artistically but unfortunately it did not resonate with me emotionally as much as the ones I listed.  I’m a sucker for Sondheim and gay themed musicals. But yes I do agree that Hello Dolly is one of the great Musical Revivals of the 21st century.

"Will never forget meeting one of the stars of this show in an informal setting and when they realized I had seen it they actually apologized to me and tried to explain how everything developed. (I thought it was messy and fun, and would not complaint - I've seen enough Almodovar to expect a complicated jumble, and very much enjoy a Yazbek score. No apologies necessary.)

I would remove Hamilton in a heartbeat from that list

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian
