11 Year Old Hits it OUT OF THE PARK with 'And I'm Telling You" from Dreamgirls

For the most part, some of the America's Got Talent contestants have been O.K.

But..

They just had an 11 year old girl who blew the roof off the entire place singing from Dreamgirls...

Anyone else catch that?

I saw a clip online last week with her on it. I thought she was amazing. And Craig . . . just a head's up . . . I bet you someone is going to post a link to a thread that was started last week. But, yeah . . . AMAZING

She is incredibly talented and will be the winner of this competition! Performs with such ease and she is just incredible!

I was trying to tell you all about this show for a long time during the time that I was helping to cast it...

Thank goodness someone from this board actually paid attention and, low and behold, they sent us Bianca! :)

I would have been more impressed had she not been up there trying to copy Holiday. I think there was a voice in there and she might not be a bad little singer, but impressions of singers passing for talent is a sad comment. Not impressed.

CM.. you are quite the jaded one if you aren't impressed with an 11 year old with that voice... regardless of trying to sound like someone else - she has AMAZING chops!

I'm with Carl Magnum on this one; I didn't think there was anything amazing about Bianca's performance. Is she talented? Yes. Could she have a very promising future as a singer? Yes. I just didn't think she grasped the essence of the song's meaning and in a way I think it would've been almost impossible for an eleven year old to do so; the song is very complex as far as emotions etc. I'd like to see what she could do with that song in 10 years or so.

Yeah, I wasn't blown away either. Sure, she's loud and can hit the notes, but that doesn't make for a good performance. But kudos to her for following her dreams. Best of luck to her in everything she pursues.

Thank god I'm not the only person who wasn't completely bowled over by her performance. I thought she oversang a little - especially for her age - and speaking of age, it IS a difficult song for someone her age to completely grasp.

Try telling that to all the Jersey Boys fans. JUST SAYING. Not trying to be offensive in any way. A lot of people seem to consider that talent.
