Okay, after wracking my brain and asking people who should know (thanks for nothing)I have determined I am crazy.
What is Michael Cerveris going to be starring in this season that would make him eligible for a Tony as leading actor in a musical? I even checked his web site and there was no mention.
What did I miss?

And the Actor who will play Starbuck in 110 (I don't know his name, shame on me)could also have a chance.

That would be Steve Kazee, and I'm surprised that he was only mentioned once in three pages. Starbuck is a killer role, and if Kazee is great, it will surely be a star-making part for him.

ETA: Sueleen, Michael Cerveris is gearing up to star as Kurt Weill in LoveMusik at the Biltmore this Spring, alongside Donna Murphy as Lotte Lenya.

A Raul win would be nice, but it's hard to tell so early in the season.

In my perfect world, the nominees would be
Raul Esparza
Michael Cerveris
Alex Gemignani
Norm Lewis
David Hyde Pierce

And honestly, any five of those could win and I would be completely happy.

Gavin Lee will Definitely be "in the mix"
Gemiignanl and Lewis are not getting much buzz

Right now I'd predict that the nominees will be Hyde Pierce, Lee, Esparza, Short, and either Jonathan Groff or Cerveris. But time will tell.

Maybe I'm wrong, but i thought I read that Lovemusik opens after the Tony cut-off.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

I'm not sure what the cutoff is, but I'd think LoveMusik will make it if it opens on May 3 as scheduled. The Tonys are June 10.

The cut-off is May 9 so LoveMusik will definitely be eligible for this season.
