2009 Tony Awards Poster Reveiled

I hope the image works. It's from the Tony Awards facebook page.

I hate it. LOVED last year's. This year's reminds me of a tacky contemporary game show like 'Don't Forget the Lyrics.'

Is this really this year's poster? I thought the broadcast was moved to Monday the 8th, but the poster says Sunday the 7th.

But in all honesty, who are they trying to impress? The people that watch the Tony's are going to watch it regardless of the advertising
A better poster will not attract nor detract any new viewers

Pianolin, I was about to say the same thing.

It's not like someone's going to walk down the street and say, "You know, I was planning to watch the Tony Awards this year, but with a poster like that, I just don't think I can bear it."

Very amateurish...don't like the way they interacted the colors (quite drab)...unimaginative lettering...looks like cue cards floating in the ad space.
I guess what I'm trying to say is...don't like it at all...well maybe the showtime thing, but, again, could have been a bit more catchy in the wording... =[

Based on the poster, if it indeed IS the one they are going to USE...perhaps is SHOULD be RE-veiled!
