Since the last thread is now on it's 15th page, I thought I would start a new one for the 2017-2018 season. Of course, as always some of these tours will not materialize (we went 12/16 by my count for the 16-17 season, not including the rumored). I am also going to call anything that starts in the spring of 2017 but has long runs for the first few starts (i.e. Hamilton and Aladdin) as this season.
That brings the list (as of 2/7) to:
ANNOUNCED/CONFIRMED:
Hamilton (North American tour starting on the West Coast in March, Chicago company selling thorough 9/17/17 currently)
Aladdin (Chicago engagement from 4/11/2017 - 7/2/2017)
Waitress (launching from Cleveland)
Allegiance
Les Miserables (launching in Providence)
School of Rock
Love Never Dies
The Color Purple (Revival Version)
On Your Feet! (launching from Miami)
The Humans
Escape to Margaritaville (New Orleans, Houston, Chicago)
Bright Star
RUMORED:
Deaf West Spring Awakening
Shuffle Along
2018-2019: CONFIRMED
Fiddler on the Roof
Miss Saigon
Any others?

Pretty sure Les Mis confirmed a tour that's supposed to start in 2017. Also,I sort of remember the cities for the Miss Saigon tour for 2018 were announced and is listed in the 2016-2017 season.

"Miss Saigon" launches in Providence, RI in the fall of 2018... I'm thinking this will be part of the 2018/2019 touring season.

AGAIN...I'm so confused as to why you continue to quote members but then don't add anything. At least say "DITTO" or something!

I don't think they have. But they are here: http://bbonyc.com/

It was buried in their closing announcement (which is what I linked above) - I had to do a google search, and that was the only thing that came up

Colleen Jennings-Roggensack, Executive Director for ASU Gammage, said: "This SPRING AWAKENING by Deaf West Theatre is an important and moving work. The night I saw it, the audience was electric and so deeply engaged. It is a work that the Road should embrace."
Josh LaBelle, Executive Director of the Seattle Theater Group, said: "Deaf West's production ofSPRING AWAKENING on Broadway delivered an incredibly inspirational theatre experience. The cast, direction and breathtaking incorporation of American Sign Language (ASL) was something to behold. Our staff would be honored & excited to present Deaf West's SPRING AWAKENING in Seattle."
I think you missed the uses of "should" and "would" in both those statements.

i'll chime in before hogans hero does that it seems questionable whether there would be demand for an Allegience tour
next year will be awesome for those of us that live outside of nyc
I'm sure Allegiance would do well in the West Coast cities with large Asian Am populations (SF, LA, San Diego, Seattle). Not sure where else.

Especially if they get Lea Salonga to come do it... They would make BANK touring to big Asian American and FilAm populous cities...

Updated! I had already added Waitress and School of Rock, but I forgot about Love Never Dies.
As for the others, I added them to the rumored section as those agreements are sometimes put in place long before a show officially decides that it is touring.
Does it seem to anyone else that we do not have nearly as long of a list as we do for the 2016-2017 season?
Last year, a lot of shows announced national tours such as An American in Paris, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Finding Neverland, Fun Home, Gigi, Honeymoon in Vegas, The King & I, On the Town, and Something Rotten! Six of them are still happening.
This year, the only shows that have officially announced national tours that seem likely to be happening are Aladdin, Hamilton, School of Rock, and Waitress. Allegiance and Spring Awakening may have announced tours, but I think both of those are going to be real longshots.
Apparently, Bright Star is another possibility...

Unlikely. The producers of the show expect to run the production in Chicago for at least 2 years.
Aladdin (Chicago sit-down from 4/17/2017 - 7/2/2017)
That's not a sit-down. That's a typical tour stop. They may extend the run, but it's not open-ended,
