I definitely see where your coming from. I kind of feel the opposite. I’m more excited for Six than I was a year ago and I’m less interested in Flying Over Sunset.

A very timely Pass Over will be headed to Broadway later this year! (I'm assuming this is a new play?)

Has anyone heard anything more on The Who’s Tommy coming back? It was announced that it would come to Broadway for 2021 with Des McAnuff directing. Wondering now if it’s on hold or maybe a possibility for 2022? Was looking forward to it.

Why isn't HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD on this list. I spoke to James Snyder and it is definitely returning (with "changes")

It’s scheduled for 2022.

I don't believe this list is meant to include all of the returning shows from previous seasons. It only includes new productions opening (including return engagements that were planned before COVID), plus shows that were in previews prior to COVID. The only exceptions are North Country and West Side Story, which are on the list because, even though they opened officially, their Tony eligibility was pushed to next season.

Cursed Child isn’t saying much beyond “Back in 2022” because they said they’re still working on changes to the play's "length and structure".
Only appears 7 shows are selling tickets beginning the week of Sept 14.
Sept. 14 - Chicago
Sept. 17 - American Utopia, Six
Oct. 16 - Ain't Too Proud
Oct. 21 - Jagged Little Pill
Oct. 22 - Phantom

Lion King, Hamilton & Wicked are believed to be apart of the May 11 announcement that they'll reopen Sept. 14 as well. Come From Away is also expected to be reopening that week as well. Aladdin is expected shortly after.

Thank you for that! Will be keeping an eye on the updates here. As of now I’m hoping for a week one binged of Hamilton-Wicked-Lion King-Six on consecutive nights from 9/14-17… it’s good to be optimistic! :)

I don’t see that yet hmmm
What are the odds that December 20th is Company's official first day back? I'm trying as hard as possible to do Company the very first day it's open. Do I jump on the 20th now? Or could a potential reopening announcement come with an earlier date?

Anxiously waiting to hear about Flying Over Sunset....
Company starting previews December 20, 2021 and opening January 9, 2022.

Ain't Too Proud confirmed to return Oct. 16.
Man, I love these announcements flooding in. If we’re going by this “it’s only intermission” thing, we seem to be at the point where the house lights start flickering to tell everyone to take their seats.

Aaron Tveit is on the Kelly Clarkson show tomorrow. I wonder if we'll be getting some Moulin Rouge news? Not sure why else he's be on the show as I don't think he's promoting anything.

There is a universe where Kelly Clarkson could take over for Olivo in Moulin Rouge, but sadly we aren't living in it...
