Hey, gang!
Have a bit of a random / stupid question: With regard to the $30 tickets for TORCH SONG...
That promotion is for patrons who are thirty or younger, right? As if to say, someone who *is* 30 can successfully attain a ticket?
Thanks in advance for the insight,
- M
Honestly, they don't even check when you purchase them online (there's no member # or code like with Linctix or HipTix) and they don't ID at the box office, so I'm sure it won't be a problem.
Their website seems pretty clear: "Who is eligible? It’s pretty simple – 30 under 30 tickets are available to anyone 30 years old or younger."

For some reason I can’t seem to find any past this coming Friday night.

The 30 Under 30 offer is only available for performances until 10/20, this Friday.
*per their website
It's definitely 30 AND under. I got 2 tickets for me and my bf, and he is turning 30 a day before the date we wanted to see it. I made them verify it 3 times lol.
They did specifically call out that both of us will be asked to show our ID when we pick up the ticket.
^ Thank you! Booked a seat for later this week! ![]()
From what I understood from a 2ST representative I met at the Flea Market, she mentioned that more $30 tickets are dropped for each performance up to a few days before, and that more can be expected for the extension.

Has anyone been IDed at the box office? I've never once been asked to show an ID.

I can't remember which, but I think a guy in the B/O said they really only ID when it's a single $30 ticket pickup.
I bought a $30 and a full price (I was with my mom)

I wonder if I could pass for 30? I'm still breathtakenly handsome and have the grace of a gazelle.

I picked up a single last night and wasn't asked for an ID. Maybe they were too busy with the line to bother? I don't look that old I'm told, but I still held my breath.

I wasn't asked for ID when I saw Torch Song but I was a while back for The Way We Get By.
Bump - anybody know if they're doing a 30 Under 30 for Torch Song on Broadway this fall?

The only do a $25 student rush for Straight White Men. One imagines this would offer the same?
UPDATE: Oh, they did do it for SWM, too. Looks like it was just a 30UNDER30 code on telechargeoffers, so will probably be the same for Torch Song. Probably just waiting for SWM to close Sunday before updating everything.
I was hoping to see some news regarding 30 under 30 for the Broadway production. I've been holding out buying tickets for it.
Any update on this? The "30UNDER30" that worked for Straight White Men isn't working for Torch Song (at least not yet).

Torch Song isn't a Second Stage production (even though it's at the Hayes) so they might not have the same 30 Under 30 or student rush policies, it's up to the new producers

^ This is correct.
Interesting. Second Stage is listed as one of the producers of the Broadway production, but with a long list of others. STRAIGHT WHITE MEN was solely produced by Second Stage.
