Check this out info on $69 tickets to The Book Of Mormon!

Once was enough. You could pay me $ 69 and I would not see it again
A number of people on line for $ 14 tickets for It Should Have Been You today echoed the same sentiment when we were chewing the fat killing time.
Once was more than enough. I'd rather do the 69 position instead :)
You both are so funny. So so funny. Like, really funny. Your jokes are amazing. Your understanding of humor is unsurpassed. You are just brilliant.

Being 5'9" or shorter due to limited legroom should also be at Studio 54! I am still stretching my back and knees from sitting in the mid-mezzanine almost two weeks ago!!!
these are actually rarely available. odds are if you're to attempt to buy these, they'll actually be over $100.
Wait. Is the height thing really enforced??
In my opinion, Book of Mormon tickets are UNBELIEVABLE compared to some of the others. When I saw it on Bway, I was able to obtain a center orchestra seat for a "cheap" $200 because I walked up to the box office an hour before the show, and they happened to have a single seat that was supposed to sell for, I think, $350.
I can't figure out what is so expensive about the production that causes these crazy ticket prices. Even the Les Miz revival, with its star power and complicated sets, costs far less to attend than BOM.
Aside from the large cast, what on earth is it about BOM that justifies the prices? Cost recoupment just doesn't seem to be the reason. Is it popularity -- Supply and demand? I just can't figure it out.
The show is in a relatively small theatre therefor they are able to charge a crazy amount of money for the seats. Now they are just benefiting from the fact they won the Tony and not looking for paying there investors.

Again the $69 tickets are ONLY available at the box office! Not online and yes the height thing is enforced.
So you can just walk up and say that you want them, obviously they can check your height or something like that?

When I went in I was buying for a friend and they just asked me if they are over 5 foot 9.

this seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen.
One word is the answer why they charge what they charge
Can you spell Greed boys & girls? They think the gravy train will go on forever . One little economic downturn and/or layoffs on Wall Street & people will start questioning why they should pay those prices to see it. Could care less one way or the other.

I don't get the appeal really I've seen it 1x in Des Moines, IA a few years ago and once is enough! It came back again to Iowa on Jan 2015 and there was an email for $40 tix (and there is no bad seat at the DSM Civc Center, modern and legroom galore!) but I was not tempted at all to watch again! I did forward the email to as many people as possible so they can also experience the show! And I am one to watch a show multiple times, I've seen Les Miz 15x and Kinky Boots 3x (once on Broadway and 2x in Iowa, would have been 4 if there was not a 12 inch snowstorm on their last day in IA!)

Anyone can see the show EVERYDAY for $27. It is called the SRO line. I have done it about 12 times and get tickets every time. The view is great and it's really easy to do it.
Especially now. SRO is great and if you're physically able to do it, I highly recommend it. It's not like it's a 4-hour wait anymore.
I'm rally glad Mormon has made this available; I've been able to see so many people's final shows this way!
