Was Hannah still out as Marcia? I believe she got injured at the beginning of January and Ginger has been the temporary Marcia. They did fly in Mary Page Nance as an emergency cover for Marcia for a few weeks.

This is also also a level 5 Tour. Why aren't the usual suspects bitching and moaning about this one?

Because it didn't earn a bunch of Tony Awards like The Outsiders?

I'm pretty sure Hannah was just on vacation for a week when they brought in Mary Page Nance. She was only with the show in Greenville, SC. Hannah was back right after she left. I think one of the other Marcia covers got sick/injured which is why they had to bring in Mary Page.

Ginger was on for a while. Mary Page Nance did go on once. Ninako Donville leaves end of this week for PIRATES, so they'll be short a swing unless someone else gets brought in.

because they realize a 2 hour 15 minute therapy session is not a great sell to audiences nationwide
of course once everyone is belting out Sweet Caroline a hundred times the mediocrity of the evening is somewhat forgiven
while one cant argue with the unique take on the material
one wonders what else could have been with a more inspired approach
lets face it
this show lasted as long as it did because it became the second or third choice of everyone in the TKTS line

We can also thank Ken Davenport for bringing in Thursday matinees. While the show was losing money that summer, they changed their schedule to have Thursday matinees by September. Having four matinees available for this type of audience helped keep the show running for almost 2 years. Before Gatsby opened, ABN was the lone Broadway show with a Thursday matinee, and they frequently soldout.

Wait, they pulled the costume changes? How do they show the passage of time for the therapy sessions then?

The show just begins with a really long pause between Neil and the therapist followed by one of them saying a line like “we’ve been at this for months now” or something underwhelming like that. If you didn’t know about the costume changes (or remember it), you wouldn’t really notice. But I remembered how strongly that started the show off, and then the rest sort of meandered around after that.

It's really dumbfounding why they pulled this from the tour. It didn't seem that complicated to do.

Also, Nick Fradiani announced he's staying with the tour for its second year. I honestly didn't think he would since he's been with the show for 3 years now. Guess he's earning a nice paycheck. I'd assume the tour will switch to non-equity after its second year wraps up next July.

The equity tour is wrapping up it's two year run this week in Kansas City. Nick Fradiani has been with the show for 4 years. Congratulations on a successful run. The non-equity tour starts this Fall.
