I'm not going to do an in-depth review, but here goes...
Understudies:
E. Clayton Cornelious as Richie
Lyndy Franklin as Maggie
Denis Lambert as Greg
Jessica Lea Patty as Cassie (scheduled alternate for Sundays)
E. Clayton Cornelious as Richie was just okay. Good, but nothing amazing. His Richie is probably as nerdy as it gets, which made for some funny lines. He has a nice voice, but he jumbles his words in spots which makes it a little weird.
Lyndy Franklin as Maggie... WOW. I had seen her as Kristine a while ago and loved her, but I had NO idea she could sing like that. Her Maggie was absolutely perfect. Her voice is gorgeous, and she acts the part really well.
Denis Lambert was not very good as Greg. His first lines in the beginning were really good, but that was about it. He's fairly new to the cast, so I don't think he's gone on as Greg very much (if at all). I think with time he could get better, but he seems to still be getting used to the character, and (minus a few really funny lines) most of it fell flat.
Jessica Lea Patty needs to be made full-time Cassie when the time comes. She just does.
Everything else was business as usual, the show is still in really good shape.

Glad to hear Chorus Line is going strong. I only saw this show once and I really hope I get the opportunity to see it again.
I remember being surprised that I recoginzed the image of the all the actors standing along the white line even though I had never seen the show before. What an iconic image. And they way that they always go back to the exact same stance, in terms of how they're standing? How cool is that.

It was Krysta's last right?
Yes, it was.

Oh I'm so bummed I missed it but they were practically completely sold out and didn't do student rush.

Well, theyd idn't do the student rush because they were very limited on what they had left. They did have standing room, though. Someone told me the box office didn't tell them there was standing room. I guess that depended on which window you went to.

Posted: 1/21/08 at 1:10pmI was thinking of waiting until the national tour opens here in Denver, but the theater is so big. I saw a bad tour of it in the mid 90's and the theater seemed to swallow the show up. I saw it on Broadway also in 78 or 79 (Can't remember) I am out to lunch as to whether to just see it in new york in a more intimate theater or just see it here. maybe I will wait until the cast is announced for the tour.

Posted: 1/21/08 at 6:31pmDoes Jessica wear a wig to play Cassie? I saw Jessica as Diana and she was great, but was curious if she did anything to her long dark hair to play Cassie.

I was there on Saturday and saw Jessica Lea Patty as Maggie. She was wonderful (I had also seen her as Morales over the summer). E. Clayton Cornelius and Denis Lambert were on as well. I liked Denis as Greg.
The show is in excellent shape and this was the third time I have seen this particular production.
Brian Knowlton as Paul; just wow!!!

I saw Lyndy as Judy back in December and she was great.
I was on my way to some show and she was standing right next to me waiting for the light to change and we got to chat briefly--really sweet lady.

I thought that Brian Knowlton's delivery of the monologue was just flat.
I prefer the original cast of the revival rather than the current cast.

Jessica Lea Patty needs to be made full-time Cassie when the time comes.
My thoughts exactly.

Posted: 1/22/08 at 10:21amI agree totally. She "is" Cassie at an entirely different level. And her voice is up there with the best. It amazes me that someone with that much talent is doing one show a week except when she goes on for the others. And Diana, Maggie, Sheila AND Cassie? How many are talented enough to do that?!!!!

Posted: 1/22/08 at 11:00amI believe the rest of the originals all signed another 6 month extension. However, Micheal Berresse will be missing a lot of shows due to other engagements. Grant Turner & Micheal Gruber will be splitting the Zach role.

Posted: 1/22/08 at 7:03pmI think Jessica may be too good. She is so valuable to them because of all the parts she does so well. I was thinking the tour would be good for her. But they probably want someone that looks like Charlotte.
