re: A Chorus Line final performance

I'm going too, and am really excited. The only other "final show" that I have gone to was the last perfromance of "Cry-Baby" this past June. I am hoping that the audience will be really enthusiastic.I also want to see for myself if Nick has to waer a hoodie when Mary Lopez is on stage.

Wow. You are obsessed with Charlotte, aren't you?

I don't see why. She was great in the beginning, but got very bored with the role within a few months. Sloppy dancing, noticeably not trying. She wasn't acting professional for a while there. And Cassie is just demanding as many other roles in the show, IMO.

Okay, sorry to threadjack.

speaking of lotto, how crazy has it been lately? I'd LOVE to see closing night, but i don't want to pay for a train ticket into the city and then miss out. Then again, their performance is at 6:30 so if I lose lotto i could still make it to another show's drawing.

I don't think ACL has a lotto anymore.

re: A Chorus Line final performance

Are they doing rush?
The morning star always gets wonderful bright the minute before it has to go --doesn't it?

re: A Chorus Line final performance

i was wondering the same thing, actually. the page on playbill with all the rush/lotto policies says ACL is just student rush and SRO, but i've been hearing mixed things.

does anyone know for sure?

re: A Chorus Line final performance

They don't have lotto ever since the rigging incident.

But they do have SRO and general rush.

re: A Chorus Line final performance

Rush is based on availability. If they are sold out or near sold out they probably won't have it.

Yes, but then they'll have SRO. Worse comes to worse, I'll go to TKTS or see something else.

I saw Jessica as Cassie last night and she was superb. She was the best Cassie I've ever seen! AHH SOO GOOD :)

re: A Chorus Line final performance

I was planning on seeing ACL this week, but changed my mind. I've already seen this revival 3 times. The next time I'm gonna see it is when the tour goes to Boston next month.

re: A Chorus Line final performance

veryny: I am going to see it in Boston too! We should plan a BWW Boston get together. I know of a couple of other Boston-ites on this board.

re: A Chorus Line final performance

Box office opens at 12noon tomorrow (Sunday, final show)
I was thinking of getting in-line for rush around 10:30am
Too early? Too late?

re: A Chorus Line final performance

also, SRO will be sold, so for those counting on TKTS, sorry. It hasn't been on TKTS for the past 3 weeks. better hope for rush tickets or grabbing one of the 16 SRO spots.

re: A Chorus Line final performance

I've never been able to find Todd Anderson in a ACL playbill or on Playbill.com cast list. Out of curiousity, who does he understudy?
Dean: Can I tell you something? Lorraine: That depends on what it is. Dean: I think you're really really pretty. Lorraine: (after a pause) Ok, you can tell me that.
