Mario Lopez, wanted to get out of there so fast and he turned and ran RIGHT into the stage wall and fell back a little bit.
That's funny. My friend was telling me about that but she wasn't sure if he really ran into the wall.

Daniely Radcliffe was in attendance?
He must have really liked the show. Wasn't he at the show few months ago, too?

'kiss the day goodbye'? Seriously?
I am so glad Heather Parcells went on for the final performance. I saw the show on the final Saturday night, when she did the opening number and was visibly in pain, and then Lyndy Franklin did the rest of the show as Judy. Lyndy is great, but I'm sure anyone would be devastated to have to miss their final performances because of injury. Luckily, I heard Parcells was excellent on Sunday. I hope the whole cast gets some good resting time (they deserve it) and then dives into other jobs. I can't wait to see what they all do next, especially Heather Parcells, Jeffrey Schecter, Bryan Knowlton, and James T. Lane.
And Jessica Lea Goldyn... and Deirdre Goodwin... who the eff am I kidding, I love them all. This was a very special production.

"Mario Lopez checks himself out in the mirror..."
haha.
There were no cast members from the original 1975 production in attendance? Conspicuously absent?

A ha! I wondered why Heather mouthed "I did it" to someone in the audience. This explains why.

I was at the final performance on the 17th, and also at the final of the original production. Both shows knocked it out of the park. I could have done without Mario -- I think he hammed it up during his scene with Jess -- trying to create some steam there, but please. Broadway just isn't his thing -- at least not in this show. He certainly didn't deliver the sales.
Still, the solos were incredible -- The high not that Melissa Lone held during "Ballet" should stay in there. Jen Foote held her own on T & A but Jess owns that part. She daced really well as Cassie -- I dare say better than CHarlotte, but I'm inclined to cut Char some slack. She has to be exhausted and to do that role at age 44 is a phenomenon. Her body looks fantastic but that kind of dancing wears you out after a while.
Overall, it was a terrific night and I'm so sorry the show closed. I've spent more money on tix for that show (prods 1 and 2 both) that I could probably put John Breglio's nieces and nephews through college. Worth it. Still, if I get a chance to see it on tour, I'm there. If I were a dancxer and got to do that show, I'd hang up my shoes. Nothing beats a role in ACL, in my book.
agreed, if i got a part in A Chorus Line on tour, i'd be able to die a happy person. not other show after that could possibly satisfy.
