Quick question: I've tried to find info on Telecharge and the show's site about when standing room goes on sale for the sold out shows but haven't had luck. Was wondering if anyone knew if they were selling when the box office opens a la Hair or have a set time for those seats to go on sale a la God of Carnage.
Also, anyone going to try to do standing room tomorrow?

I remember in one of the press releases their was something about a $31.50 student rush. I asked at the box office a couple weeks ago and the guy said he thinks they will do something.
So that might be something to consider IDK how hard the rush will be tho
^When will you realize that not everyone here IS a student?
I haven't heard anything about SRO....I think it's up to the THEATER itself, IF there is room for it -- it's a fire code thing, not all theaters are allowed to have it.
Because of the star power and ticket sales, I'd be surprised if they don't offer it, assuming they can.
(Sorry that I have no specifics.)

The general rule with SRO is that it goes on sale when the box office opens on the day of the show, as long as that performance is sold out. I can't say that that's the rule in this specific case, but if A Steady Rain does have SRO, chances are that's how it would work. I do think the Schoenfeld has had standing room before.
I found it on telecharge:
Standing Room: $29.00 - Available at the Box Office only - only sold if the performance is sold out.
And according to the site broadwayforbrokepeople.com, created by a fellow BWWer, they go on sale when the B.O. opens, but I'm not sure where that info came from. It doesn't specify on telecharge and playbill doesn't have it.

According to the official website of the Shubert Organization / Schoenfeld Theatre there are 23 available places for Standing Room, if and when the show is sold out.

According to Bway for broke ppl A Steady Rain will have a $31.50 student rush 2 per ID. But the box office will not release the actual tickets till showtime. I guess this is to prevent the re-selling of tickets. Tickets will be sold when the BO opens
IDK how many they have
Only students go to the theatre
No, they just think that all adults can afford to go to the theater...
Where in the Schoenfeld are the standing room spots?

I don't believe they are selling standing room yet...the show is still in previews and the production team and producers usually stand in the back where standing room is.
Fosse76 is correct. I asked at the box office when previews began and was told that SRO will be sold after opening.

Just wondering if anyone here has done standing room since the show opened? I was thinking about trying this, any information would be appreciated. Thanks!!
For A Chorus Line, SRO was in the back of the orchestra section, 23 spots total. Very good view of the stage.
