i'm a long time lurker posting for the first time, so I thought I'd provide a quick introduction - I've been a diehard fan of musicals since childhood, when my mom took my sister and I to see SHENANDOAH and then the revival of FIDDLER with Zero Mostel, not too long before he died. If I had to pick a favorite show, it would be a tie between the B'way transfer of Joseph Papp's PIRATES OF PENZANCE and the OOBC of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. Around a decade ago, I wrote and co-produced an indie film starring John Stamos, *shiver*, which went straight to video and Lifetime. At this time, I am trying my hand at writing a musical.

I am trying to find a discount code for HANDS ON A HARDBODY that goes beyond April 6. It seems that every code ends on that date. There probably aren't, but I was wondering if there are sites that might have a longer availabiliy? Thanks!

Huge musical fan ever since seeing SHENANDOAH at age 8 on B'way, followed by the '76 the revival of FIDDLER with Zero Mostel. Working on my own Musical Comedy.

Just keep an eye out on the discount sites. I saw it the other night. I don't think it will last long. Good music but it just feels stagnant. I do hope they record it though. JMO

Discount codes for many shows on a short term basis -- they want to sell these tickets so that they can justify selling more.

If 500 people are going to use the discount code (just a random number) they'd rather those tix help full up the theater now, in the next month to six weeks, then those same five hundred being spread thin over six months, say.

As the deadline to the current code comes close, another will be offered -- which doesn't help your timing.

Of course, the hope will be they will have a HIT on their hands and can abolish all discounts. (Like Book of Mormon, for example.) From the sound of it, that won't be the case here.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
