Drink With Me, from Les Miserables.

I don't know why, but I've always detested this song. Ever since I first heard the score when I was 11, I loved it. Hated this song. Hmm.

"One" from A Chorus Line

"Razzle Dazzle" from Chicago. Seeing it live just bores me to pieces.

"Dancing Is Not A Crime" from Footloose

"Timeless to Me" from Hairspray

"Love Is Only Love" from the Hello Dolly! movie. I know it's not in the stage show, but whenever I watch the movie I have to fast-forward through this song.

"Man To Man Talk" from Once Upon a Mattress

"Santa Fe" from Rent

"A Sentimental Man" from Wicked

OK, WHAT? What? Why do you hate that song? Do you just hate the melody and lyrics? Its function? What? I can understand almost all of these, but that really baffles me.
Some people paint, some people sew, I meddle.

"Miss Baltimore Crabs" and "Cooties" - Hairspray
"Your Eyes" - Rent
"Magic Foot" - Spelling Bee (I don't know why, I just can't STAND that song!)
"The Dark I Know Well" - Spring Awakening
"Gee, Officer Krupke" - West Side Story. I know, I know, it's brilliant, but something about it irks me.
"Another Pyramid" - AIDA
Hear the words I sing: war's a horrid thing. So, I sing sing sing... Ding a ling a ling.

"Another Pyramid" isn't great, but "Like Father Like Son" is horrendous.

I can't stand MOST of the music from "Spelling Bee", actually.

I agree with 100% of that statement. I swear, Aida has the most lopsided score of brilliance, and cringe-worthy badness. And yeah, something about a lot of Spelling Bee just.. I don't know... I just don't like it.

How someone could hate "The Music and the Mirror" though is beyond me.

"Another Pyramid" from Aida. Or maybe it's just the dancing soldiers.

I love how they rhythmically murder a snitch during a catchy, cheerful pop song. It almost makes me want to put it in an "awesomely bad" category moreso than "a song I hate". re: A song that you hate in a musical you love

Oh. Agreed on Turpin's Johanna. John Doyle's production took a different interpretation of the song, and it was much better. However, on my original recording, it's just... odd.

I must agree with "Another Pyramid" and "Like Father, Like Son" from AIDA. YIKES.

I also don't really care for "It's a Fine Life" from Oliver. I love the score otherwise.

"Sentimental Man" - Wicked
