Posted: 4/15/08 at 9:22pmI'm just the opposite on that one, I love "Little Lamb"--its a great song that tells SO much...but I can't get over that is sung to a stuffed animal/puppet. It makes her seem pathetic rather than sad.

An Ordinary Couple from The Sound of Music.
I was in SOM and everyone hated it. The audience was half asleep, it was half way through the 2nd act of a 3 hour show.
Yikes.

I've been known to skip I Should Tell You from RENT and just combine La Vie parts A & B
Real Life from tick, tick...BOOM! maybe it's just the pacing and accompaniment but I think it's just terrible.

It's just boring and there is nothing challenging in it. That's probably why at least when I saw the show, and the movie, the character of Amos does not need to have a good singing voice, which is sad.

Now I have Everything from Fiddler - while I can't hate Sunrise Sunset, we did ban the song from our wedding and my daughter's bat mitzvah.
Spread A Little Sunshine from Pippin - although on stage it's tolerable because of staging and dialog, but on CD, yuch.

I'm going to agree with The Dark I Know Well from Spring Awakening. BORING.
And Over the Moon from Rent. While I do appreciate it, it is just never something I want to hear unless I am actually watching the show.
