Okay, I used to hate "Little Lamb", but it works very well in this production thanks to Laura's touching rendition of it.

"Ladies and their Sensitivities" from Sweeney Todd. I can't listen to it just randomly on my iPod. I'm fine when I see it live or in the movie.

I'm just the opposite on that one, I love "Little Lamb"--its a great song that tells SO much...but I can't get over that is sung to a stuffed animal/puppet. It makes her seem pathetic rather than sad.

"You're timeless to me" from Hairspray
Its fun to see live with all the improv and jokes, but on the recording its pretty boring

An Ordinary Couple from The Sound of Music.
I was in SOM and everyone hated it. The audience was half asleep, it was half way through the 2nd act of a 3 hour show.
Yikes.

I've yet to see the show, but I've heard the cast recording. The initial part of this song works my last nerve... "Evil Woman" in "Xanadu". I'm sure it's done for comic effect, but still.... from RC in Austin, Texas
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

Hairspray - Cooties
Ragtime - Nothing Like The City (the song serves its purpose plot-wise, but just isn't very memorable to me)
Drowsy Chaperone - Accident Waiting to Happen
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - Love Sneaks In (Ditto for this song)
Avenue Q - I'm not Wearing Underwear Today
Miss Saigon - Now That I've Seen Her

"Chip On My Shoulder" from LEGALLY BLONDE, but I can't say that I love the show.

I second Love Sneaks In from DRS
My Own Best Friend, I Know A Girl and Me and My Baby from Chicago
Pretty Music from Parade
I've been known to skip I Should Tell You from RENT and just combine La Vie parts A & B
Real Life from tick, tick...BOOM! maybe it's just the pacing and accompaniment but I think it's just terrible.

You're reminding me of people you hear at the movies asking questions every ten seconds, "Who is that? Why is that guy walking down the street? Who's that lady coming up to him? Uh-oh, why did that car go by? Why is it so dark in this theater?" - FindingNamo on strummergirl

"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott

Mr. Cellophane-Chicago
It's just boring and there is nothing challenging in it. That's probably why at least when I saw the show, and the movie, the character of Amos does not need to have a good singing voice, which is sad.

I love Spring Awakening, but I absolutely HATE 'The Mirror Blue Night'. I'm also not too fond of 'Private Conversation' from Side Show.

I love "The Mirror Blue Night." I love SPRING AWAKENING's score, but I think that "My Junk" and "The Dark I Know Well" are pitifully awful songs.

Green Finch and Linnet Bird from Sweeney Todd. For some reason it just annoys me. Although I will listen to it.

Bui Doi from Miss Saigon
Now I have Everything from Fiddler - while I can't hate Sunrise Sunset, we did ban the song from our wedding and my daughter's bat mitzvah.
Spread A Little Sunshine from Pippin - although on stage it's tolerable because of staging and dialog, but on CD, yuch.
Dog Eats Dog from Les Miz

Without You from Rent and I'm Not That Girl from Wicked. I am SURE there is more (most likely remembering them right after logging off *rolls eyes*) but that is all I can think of now.

I'm going to agree with The Dark I Know Well from Spring Awakening. BORING.
And Over the Moon from Rent. While I do appreciate it, it is just never something I want to hear unless I am actually watching the show.

"not for the life of me (reprise)" from TMM where they sing in Mandarin. it bugs me.
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I?
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
