Never knew what that was. And I have to agree with everyone in saying the whole Montage was worth buying the recording.

UGH! I can't believe I missed this thread!! (Hard to believe, huh, Michael Bennett? )After going to my Border's and not finding it and trying two other places, I eneded up getting my copy at Best Buy- the only copy they had left *whew* The book with lyrics is great- LOVE that Cassie is the picture on the case when you pull out the CD

I am completely inpressed, really. I love, love, LOVE the additions/inclusions to the tracks They weren't lying when they said "The most comeplete recoeding yet!" on the sticker.

Ok, first and formost- what I've been wait6ing for- Charlotte as Cassie. I adore that they left the dialouge with she and Zach in for the recording! I think she sounds great. Great energy and acting. I can just see her dancing while listening to the instrumental

Natalie Cortez and Mara Davi are great vocalists.

AT THE BALLET shines. Diedre sounds great, Alisan is a perfect Bebe and as I previously stated, Mara is headed for greatness.

Obverall, a top notch cast recording

Only makes me even more excited for the 26th

i FINALLY got the cd today!
i had the obc one, and just got the revival one

i love it! it is certainly different from the old one, but i like the orchestrations. natalie cortez sounds great! and charlotte does not sound as bad as people have said- i really like her voice

anyways, i still havent listened to the whole thing, but just wanted to mention that

I just got it last night, and I don't like it.

80% of the flaws in the actual production are captured on this CD. The CD just proves that without the original staging, this production would be D.O.A.

I agree. I was very underwhelmed by it. I like the original much better.
