...and so it begins.
Here we go...
I'm not surprised...hopefully they will be able to get the show going.
The whole Zaks addition is going to be causing more trouble like this.

Is it that big of a deal if it cancels three previews two months out? I mean, I know the show is in trouble, but it's not like three days two months away are what they are counting on to save the show.
It's not the canceling of the previews but I am expecting a bunch of changes similar to this.

I haven't been following this too closely, so, what is the consensus of the SCORE? (i.e. is it Good or Bad?)
Actually, I take this as they are listening to the out of town reviews and trying to fix the show. Good for them! I hope they succeed!
DCR is clueless and just tries to sound important. That's basically the same thing as saying "I'm expecting a bunch of changes I can't predict similar to some other changes of which I do not know the impact." Deep stuff.

Excuse me? I never said anything is definitely going to happen. I just think that this will lead to other changes such as cast, other members of the creative team, possibly pushing the start of previews back even more, etc.
So don't say I'm clueless because I never said I knew anything. I am PREDICTING that some of these changes will occur.
You mean the changes that Reidel rumored in his article. YOU'RE A PROPHET!
"You mean the changes that Reidel rumored in his article. YOU'RE A PROPHET!"
I didn't even read his article, he is full of S***!
But if you change a director or a "Supervisor" some big changes are bound to happen.
I find it interesting that I just finished the "The Dark Side of the Moon" chapter in the book "The Season" like 15 minutes ago.
"I didn't even read his article, he is full of S***! "
He IS full of S***. Just like he was about Ragtime closing... oh wait. Just like he was about Cheno doing Promises Promises... oh wait. Just like he was about Gina Gershon in Birdie... oh wait. Huh, oh wait, he's usually right.

Do you have some kind of problem with me?
He likes to make up his own little stories and convinces himself that they are true, what exactly did he say happened to Spiderman?
Nobody definitively knows what's happening with Spiderman. bjh was just citing the things that Reidel has written about that have come to be true, so he obviously does know what he is talking about at least some of the time, like him or not.
Riedel also was first to announce Zeta-Jones would be Desiree.
He has insider information, whether you choose to believe it or not.
Riedel is almost always right. Whatever you want to say about him, he's usually right.
As for Spiderman, Riedel was the first to announce it was "postponed" until the summer. He also had doubts it would ever open. I still have my doubts it will ever open as well. And when it doesn't...Riedel will have been right. Again.

Alright, so he is right sometimes. I still don't see what this has to do with me.
I agree with those that have said this is a good thing. It's refreshing and reassuring to see that the producers are actually using the out-of-town tryouts to see how best to improve the show. It's clear that this is simply another step (ala hiring Jerry Zaks) to move the show in a better direction. That said...I'm sure Riedel will have a field day with this in his next article.
You said he was full of sh*t. He's right more than he's wrong. You were wrong. This is coming from someone who hates the man.
Alright, so he is right sometimes. I still don't see what this has to do with me.
Well, considering you were the one who said, "I didn't even read his article, he is full of S***!" it has a lot to do with you. You insinuated he had no idea what he was talking about and others refuted you.
