Any idea if the 75 minute running time is accurate? Trying to determine if I can do this as a matinee and be out in time to get to Here Lies Love?!

Yes, 75 min but doesn't start on time like majority of broadway shows. Add 10 min.

This was filmed over two days in mid-August — the proshot will premiere on April 6 at 10 PM EST on HBO, and it will also be available to stream on Max.

I saw the show a few weeks ago in Philly and it was really hilarious but with a potency given the current state of the world. Alex is so energetic on stage that I was shocked at how much more laid back he was off stage when he came out into the lobby after the show.
I'm so glad this was filmed so more people can see it, because it's really fantastic.

Seems a theater in Minnesota is doing a production with another performer as "alex" and it is unclear if it is authorized or not

What the Constitution Means To Me toured and continues to play regionally with other actors as "Heidi," so this seems no different (assuming it's authorized).

Just For Us is ostensively a standup routine performed by a comedian, acting as "Heidi" and telling her story is one thing, performing jokes as "alex" is another, part of the charm of the piece is his personality and his rhythm and delivery

Oh I agree...I saw Just For Us twice (and a third time on Max) and can't imagine anyone other than Alex performing it, nor would I be interested in seeing it with anyone else. All I meant is that if he chooses to license it and treat it as a theater piece rather than a standup routine now that he's apparently done performing it himself, I see no reason why it shouldn't have a continuing life for new audiences.
