I've gone by trying to see ALNM several times in the last week or 2 and either CZJ, or lately AH has been out a bunch of times.
If anyone knows I'd be grateful! I can wait out some sick days but if it's a long vacation I may see it with S. Buntrock understudying.
I think I read he was going to be out for a week. I've been dying to see Buntrock. I wish I was around to see him.
Buntrock was wonderful tonight. Granted, I have nothing to compare him to, but he was really very good.

Also, if it is a vacation, if anyone knows when he's coming back?
I know he was out last Saturday night- would seem unusual to take a vacation going across more than one Tues to Sunday week around Tony voter time!

The man SHOULD have been nomiated for a Tony (sorry Kelsey Grammer but you stole this man's slot) so maybe he feels he doesn't have to do the Tony week things.
Hanson should have been nominated, but it was Kimball, not Grammer, who stole his slot.
See it with Buntrock. I saw him Sunday and he was great! Bradley Dean was also on for Carl Magnus.

Maybe Hanson is giving his ears a rest from Rebecca Mallory's shrieking for a few days.

Seriously. Don't know how they do it.

Who played Frid and Mr. Lindquist when Dean and Buntrock were understudying?

Please, Chad Kimball carries that show on his back! One of the season's GREAT performances.

Tell that to Outer Critics Circle/Drama Desk winner, and possible Tony winner Montego Glover!

OK, I'm answering my own question. From talking to various people at the theater today it sounds like he took a 2 week vacation and is coming back this coming Tuesday(!) Telecharge has no idea he's not in it this week.
How odd. He took a week off in March for the Olivier awards. He's had more vacations than CZJ and Angela. Yet some rag on them for taking two weeks off.

Since he is continuing after the hiatus, and will have some pretty intensive rehearsals with Ms. Peters, I assume he is entitled to a little more time off than those whose run ends June 20. But I am surprised that he is taking time just before the Tonys.
