Does anyone know anything about this musical in development? With Grace McLean as the Queen of Hearts?
Surprised to hear we're getting another Peter Pan/Alice In Wonderland adjacent story to the Broadway circuit........ again.
Just from recent memory:
Peter Pan tour
Peter Pan Goes Wrong
Finding Neverland
Alice By Heart
Peter And The Starcatcher
Wonderland
(just surprised more people taking a crack at an overdone IP, but I want to hear thoughts)
It seems unnlikely since she was a part of Alice by Heart....but stranger things have happened!
I'm too lazy to google, but didn't she play the same role too???
Yes, Grace McLean was the Queen of Hearts in Alice by Heart, and I don’t see her name attached anywhere to Alice in Neverland.
In case anyone is curious, this would also be the 3rd piece I'm aware of that has dealt with both Peter Pan & Alice in Wonderland. There was John Logan's play "Peter and Alice" as well as the recent film "Come Away." Not trying to claim that this piece will be in any way similar to those, just thought it might be intriguing to note the history of Alice+Peter crossovers. Any others I don't know about?

There’s a development workshop happening now. Someone part of the show accidentally posted the cast sheet to Instagram. Should’ve screenshot it.

OH WAIT I DID!
Cecco - Travis Artz
Tinker Bell - Courtnee Carter
Ariella - Mia Gerachis
Blue Fairy - Stephanie Gibson
White Rabbit - Eddie Korbich
Mad Hatter - Garth Kravitz
Queen of Hearts - Grace McLean
Pink Fairy - Adelina Mitchell
That's all that's visible. One cut off kind of looks like Austin Colby, but that's what was posted on instagram from that angle.
But also like they're working actors, a job is a job, ya know?

It appears improbable, given her involvement in "Alice by Heart," but one can never rule out unexpected possibilities!

I am so over Alice and Wonderland and Peter Pan as source material for retellings. We need. a 10 year ban... MINIMUM.
