OH, MARY! Reviews

Most shows with stars try; very few extend with a new cast, and even fewer have similar or increased sales. Their agents do not want them to be compared. And the fact that Cole wrote the play adds another level of challenge.

Katie Finneran or Julie White or Noah Galvin or Michael Urie seem like an appropriate level who would

Would love to see so many people in this show: Jinkx as many have mentioned, John Early, but my ultimate dream is Julia Louis Dreyfus

SUNSET BLVD. Revival

Seeing this for the 9th? (I think) time today. So happy and sad to see the final performance. What a thrilling production. I am so glad to have seen this so many times. Can’t wait to hear Nicole sing this score one last time.

also just got back from London and saw Evita - also INCREDIBLE

Hugh Jackman & Ella Beatty to lead off-Broadway SEXUAL MISCONDUCT OF THE MIDDLE CLASSES in rep with Liev Schrieber-led CREDITORS

I know why but I cannot believe Ella Beatty is about to be in another show when her performance in Ghosts was to put it lightly - horrible.

I am personally thinking Old Friends will be her final send off. I would love to see her do a play. Either versions of Kimberly she'd be great

DEATH BECOMES HER comments/questions

MemorableUserName said: "Went back tonight and, nowhaving seen McDonald and Scherzinger, Hilty's and Simard's performances really struck me as being far superior. It's a shame comedy is undervalued compared to drama, because what they are both doing on that stage is truly impressive. So fresh. So funny. So alive. So multi-faceted. (And both are doing a better job at fully embodying the characters than Scherzinger is.) I wish either of them would take the Tony."<

Saw it in IMAX tonight. It was perfection. I will post more in the morning but all I can say now is

The scene of Ariana and Cynthia dancing together in the Oz dust ballroom is one of the most beautiful and touching scenes I’ve seen in a movie in a while.

SWEPT AWAY first preview

Adeliciaboy said: "Please someone save me from total madness. I was at the first preview tonight and all I have to say is what a horrid sack of excrement this whole endeavor is. What nerve it took for the producers to haul this piece of pretentious nonsense into New York City, which has seen a steady stream, of disasters this past year. But I’ve seen most of them and this is by far the worst. The first45 minutes of the 90 minute show is filled with salty sailors prancing around

MAYBE HAPPY ENDING. BREAK A LEG

merle57 said: "BREAK A LEG for the company of Maybe Happy Ending. Finally, an original musical, not another revival, or a weakly plottedjukebox retread,or amoviedesecrated with a generic mediocre score. Great to see Darren Criss originating a role. Broadway needs more original new musicals. Last season had several good ones from Outsiders to Suffs to Gatsy and Sondheim's final show. We need more new shows, so good luck to this season's newest show."

The case against Stereophonic

I skimmed the legal doc at work....yeah I mean that click track section doesn't make things look great for Adjmi. It was pretty identical. I love the show and I am not smart enough to know the ins and outs of things like this but this case seems like it could be kind of legitimate.

Rachel Zegler & Kit Connor-led ROMEO + JULIET Previews
 Oct 1 2024, 10:20:34 PM

I haven’t seen it yet so literally these comments mean nothing….BUT

A lot of people seem to be describing this production as juvenile and appealing to the younger crowds (which to the second part I fully agree based off everything I’ve seen and read/heard from friends) in a negative way, but….isn’t a sense of juvenile-ness almost helpful for a show like this?? It’s about young kids!!! I am at least a little interested in seeing something that
