Interesting...seeing as they finally just released the box set. I don't think this service is worth it, based on what they announced along side Allegiance.
is what is announced free or pay? it does not say and there is no charity mentioned either.

I was wondering the same thing... very limited info re. this service
I’d like to see Bandstand for free.
You have to subscribe to the service to watch it.
I have heard that the base subscription is free and then there will be other stuff available for an additional cost. (Not sure where Allegiance falls).
Anytime someone is scared to provide terms, costs, etc. I tend to shut down. It has been months since the expression DOA has been used here, but this is kinda sorta feeling that way to me.

While companies usually don’t share such info in advance, I feel like it should be known a week or so in advance of launch, esp since content has been announced.
Some good things on here, but price will be important... if it’s free, it could attract ppl

I wonder what the charge for ALLEGIANCE, if any, will be, given that all of the reaction to their DVD release I've seen around the internet has been largely negative due to it's astronomical pricing.

Except that streaming services do usually share such info in advance. Perhaps not in the first press release, but certainly more than a week ahead of time.

I wonder if the price to stream ALLEGIANCE will be on par with the price of its DVD release, around $170.

$15 for Allegiance, $17 for Bandstand which is ridiculous.
George Takei recently posted a video on Facebook promoting the DVD release. There was a lot of negative feedback regarding the price; even more so given the current unemployment situation. People were also commenting on the lack of a Blu-ray release. The show was captured in HD and the decision to release it on DVD-only was so misguided.
