AMERICAN PSYCHO – Instantly Sold Out Revival @ Almeida

So I didn't really consider that the tickets for the revival of AMERICAN PSYCHO at the Almeida in January would sell out almost instantly – and I've planned a whole trip to London around the show in January. Does anyone have any intel whether more tickets might go on sale later? Will third party sites be able to sell tickets? While I'm thrilled for the production and glad I suddenly don't feel so alone with my love for the show, I'm pretty gobsmacked the tickets went THAT quickly! Would love any insight/thoughts from anyone whether I should hold out hope!

Check TheatreBoard UK on this.

I've often had good success with returns at the Almeida and the seating charts look like they may have held a row or two for later release.

There’s a lot that aren’t on sale yet, though. Roughly 30% or so of the house is being held off sale for the time being.

this closes 14 March and their next production opens 31 March -- doesn't seem like an extension is possible?

Has there been any rumor or indication of who's playing Patrick Bateman? I assume not Matt Smith or Ben Walker.

There is already discusssions of this moving into the west end followed by nyc

Of course there is. Isn’t it the law now that any new show needs to transfer and also get a pro shot?

They want to show off the new material that's been worked out with their tride and true director and choreographer.

Interested to see how it's changed and the new production.

Weird. My London friend who gets tickets for us for my theatre trips there had no trouble getting tickets. Maybe he belongs to one of those "Friends" groups; they seem associated with a number of off West End Theatre's that offer seats early, not unlike Lincoln Center.
