15 nods - and I feel like I'm missing some actors...?

Yeah....except the chance of Ian Barford getting a Best Actor nod is slim to none.
Is Ian Barford eligible in Lead, not Featured? Strange.
I haven't checked Tony rulings so I'm uncertain of the leading/featured standings...

At best it will get 4 or 5 acting noms, no way it will get all those you listed.
The only leads in August are Amy Morton and Deanna Dunagan. I can definitely see Rondi Reed getting a Featured Actress nomination, but not the other women. They have to contend with Sinead Cusak (Rock 'n' Roll), Christine Barakanski (Boeing-Boeing), Martha Plimpton (Cymbeline), potentially someone from Top Girls, Kate Fleetwood (Macbeth- but she might be considering in leading, nothing official yet), and even Alison Pill (Mauritius). The Featured Actor category will definitely include Jim Norton from The Seafarer, plus another actor from that show, most likely Conleth Hill. I can also see David Pittu (Is He Dead?), Boyd Gaines (Pygmalion), Bradley Whitford (depending on billing, Boeing-Boeing), and Raul Esparza (Homecoming)getting nominations.
Oh yes, I strongly agree. Deanna Dunagan and Amy Morton are locks as far as I'm concerned, everyone else is up in the air.

Martha Plimpton is leading for Cymbeline
You are right, I just found that article. I couldn't find it before I made that post.
Isn't Alison Pill leading for MAURITIUS?
It's a REALLY strong season for plays (much stronger than it was for musicals the season THE PRODUCERS opened), so I'm not sure they will land that many featured actor nods. They should get some kind of ensemble award though. As it has been said repeatedly, there should be a Best Ensemble category like there is in the SAG awards.
Morton and Dunagan are locks for a nod, and I'm sure one of them will win. The play itself is a lock for the award.
Yeah, I could see it breaking Coast of Utopia's record, but not The Producers.
I wouldn't nominate Brian Kerwin. I would definitely nominate Guinan and Perry, but not Kerwin. (Probably not Barford either, though I liked him.)
That tally would tie THE PRODUCERS' fifteen nominations, not beat it.

Well I suppose Cry Baby has the POTENTIAL to beat The Producers record, but that's not going to happen either.
I thought THE PRODUCERS received 14 nods and 12 wins?
15 noms, it didn't get the awards for Roger Bart, Brad Oscar or Matthew Broderick, because Nathan Lane and Gary Beach won them.
EDIT- All of the actors in Mauritius are featured.

I'm sorry for being so off-topic, but when does Amy Morton leave AUGUST?
I have an inkling she'll be with the show until ... well, August. She'll see out a TONY nom (and) potential win, and ride the eave through the summer months. I remember most of the people on here were assuming she'd be leaving upon 'the move' ... that didn't happen. When I went 04.30 @ 2:00pm, she was MOST DEFINITELY on and put forth an utmost stellar performance. I'll go with her leaving in September.
I remember reading an announcement reading she would be leaving sometime this spring to go work with Steppenwolf.
AUGUST will not get 15 noms.
frogs_fan85, are you sure Sinead Cusack is Featured?
I thought she was Leading.

Morton was to direct Letts' newest play at the Steppenwolf, but obvious scheduling conflicts have prevented her from doing so.
WannaBe, the lead actors from ROCK N' ROLL are Brian Cox and Rufus Sewell.

Oh, wow.
I think Morton, Reed, and Dunagan will be the only acting nominees.
I see it getting around 10 nominations or so...I doubt it will get 15.
