I thought it was mentioned on the board before that he was leaving before the rest of the cast, and that he was done either at the end of December or early January. Don't know when Catch Me If You Can is supposed to open though.
CATCH ME has no plans of opening this Spring.

ya it thought he wasn't leaving untill February cause that is when he contract ends, but i guess not. Catch me If you can is supposed to try and open in the fall
His final performance is 1/3, as ljay mentioned.
Kyle Dean is returning.
Good, I'm glad I get to see Kyle Dean Massey again in February.
That's great for Kyle. Sad to see Aaron go but glad to see Kyle getting another chance to take over the role permanently.

where was this announcement made, is there an article?
Who are me and all my other N2N-Heads gonna stalk at the stage door now?
I recently bought tickets for December 30. I'm glad I'll get to see Aaron again before he leaves.
how certain is it that his last performance is 1/3? i want to get tickets but i don't know if i should order them before the date is officially announced.
im hopeing catch me if you can comes to bway before fall 2010
Hmmm I really hope they do a press release about it to make it "official". I really want to go. I, for one, am sad he's leaving.
I didn't like him at first...another perfectly-coifed pretty boy sans shirt who poses and preens. But he sings the crap out of his songs on N2N with passion and precision and he deserved a Tony nod. I stand corrected.
Got tickets for the 30th. Glad I'll get to see him again before he moves on to new things!

Could he perhaps be becoming a regular on Gossip Girl?
Perhaps he is sick of the grind of the fan-girls nightly. It must be emotionally exhausting. The last time I saw the show, he snuck out another exit, and a fan girl caught him out of the corner of her eye and started with blood curdling screams and running after him which started a frenzy of young people. I felt terrible for him.
He is incredible in the show and his voice is just tremendous. He breaks my heart in the show. He was robbed of a Tony nod.

So very, very true.
You know, I always hate when people scream. I think it's great to stay after a show and tell someone you loved their performance (Who wouldn't want to be told they touched someone with their work?) but...don't people realize that they make themselves look utterly ridiculous? Aside of course from how uncomfortable it must make the actors, why would you want to present yourself in such a way?
I first saw the show very early in the run, so I don't believe fangirls were a real issue yet. Aaron was lovely afterwards and very appreciative of all the nice things people had to say about his performance and the show. He even chatted about Catch Me If You Can and how excited he was about that project (it was obviously before he left for Seattle). He is incredibly talented and I have no doubt he will go on to a very very successful career.
Hopefully he isn't malled to death by fangirls in the process.
The thing that bothers me is that these fangirls don't even give a **** about the material
It's like, would they do this after a production of Les Mis?
Just irks me

I came across a youtube video of him at the stagedoor a few days ago confirming he leaves on the 3rd.
