Unforunately, some make their debuts but never perform in starring roles again, and get stuck with chorus roles or possibly just come onstage from time to time in some non-speaking roles. Who is your favorite amongst those who perform once in leads and haven't been given the opporotunity to recieve starring roles again? My personal favorite is Becky Watson from By Jeeves. She made a fabulous Madeline.

I would love if someone wrote a new, original musical for Bernie, or Patti.
And no. A "Patti Lupone Gypsy" revival for Bernadette doesn't count as a new role for her.

I think Victoria Mallory should have had more roles. She was in the original alnm, as well as Follies, and I believe a Sondheim revue. I just love her voice, though!
Perhaps Ramona Mallory will go on to get many more roles, hopefully. Their voices have a similar quality, but different. Call me crazy, but I actually love Ramona's "squeakiness." It just works for the character of Anne in alnm. Naive and dreamy, full of whimsy.

Not to be too much of a downer, but, obviously, Laurie Beechman.
Then Alice Playten and Pamela Meyers for the belters.
And Carlin Glynn.
And again sadly, Jack Cassidy. I know he had many leads, but he died too soon and he was so cool to watch. And of course, so was Bobby Van....
