UPDATE:
Vanessa Redgrave's last missed performance from her bout with the flu was Thursday, Nov. 11, it appears.
Playbill is reporting that she will return tonight, Friday, Nov. 12.

Maureen Anderman is Vanessa'a understudy. I've seen her on stage before and she is wonderful. I wish I was in NYC to see this production. I had the pleasure of seeing Frances Sternhagen and Morgan Freeman years ago and later Julie Harris and Brock Peters in a tour- all were wonderful and truly unforgettable!
Here's wishing a speedy recovery for Vanessa and wishing more solid work for Maureen Anderman.

I saw her and thought she did a fine job, though I wasn't that enthralled with the production overall.

It's Friday, Nov. 12 now, and the Telecharge page has removed the statement about Ms. Redgrave missing Thursday's show.
There is no statement saying she'll miss the performance on Friday, Nov. 12 at this time.
Let's hope this means good news, but it's still early in the day.
