I’m saying that they need to move to a rank choice voting to that the winner has to get to 50%.  The people who voted for HK would have wanted Suffs more than Outsiders which ended up with a plurality

No award show works like this. It's for an award, not elected office. Get a grip.

Just an observation:

If you can't believe the financial result, I suggest opening your Playbill and scanning the list of "producers." How many "real" producers do you see before you tire of scanning?

Oh, easily will be able to re-coup $8 mil on the road.  Musicals tend to make a much larger profit on the road than on Broadway.
