There are not enough words in the English vocabulary that can sum up how stunning and brilliant this production is. I'm going into no details whatsoever about the set, the costumes, the lighting, or even the acting choices.
All you need to know is that the cast is perfection (including one miss Katie Holmes). Dianne Wiest steals the show. STEALS it.
Go see it. Now. I've never been so blown away by anything. Rivals "August" for the title of Most Intense on Broadway currently. Probably beats it.
"Y'know, I think Bertolt Brecht was rolling in his grave."

Great to hear you enjoyed the show...does anyone know how long Katie Holmes will be in the show? I have been debating on seeing the show because I have never seen a play on Broadway. I have only seen musicals. So Im a little worried that I my attention span won't hold for very long lol
The play is a limited engagement so the entire cast remains intact until it closes (including Miss Holmes). Unless any extension is given, the play is set to close on January 11, 2009.
Rumnor has it the theater was reserved for a six month engagement...bu I understand it isn't selling well enough to warrant any extension at the current time.
