Has anyone done rush and sat in row C far house right? If so, how obstructed was the view? Thanks in advance!

When I rushed during previews, I got row B, I think second to last seat all the way on the left. It was terrible. Thankfully some guy left during intermission and I got his seat on row B center and that one was incredible

Is rush still available closer to showtime anymore? I can't get there until around 4:30-4:45. Am I better off going to TKTS? How much are the TKTS tickets usually? Or is TodayTix a better option?
I went two weeks ago on Sat....first went to the theatre and asked for rush tickets. No luck. She told me best price she has was $69. I opted to go to the TKTS booth. Ended up in front row for $80.

I've rushed multiple times and had different seats each time. But they all were EXTREMELY partial view. I wouldn't recommend them if you haven't seen the show. You miss a lot. I won the lotto though, and surprisingly those seats were not partial view at all and were in orchestra row R.
I don't think they're selling rush later in the day anymore, because I've tried between 12-6 quite a few days over the last few weeks with no luck. Between the lotto and rush, I'd say they allocate a set number now and that's it. The $69 tickets aren't bad, especially because closer to curtain they sell the front mezz at that price.

TDF has also been giving very good seats for this show, from the 2 times i and my family have gotten.
Just rushed for today's matinee (5/21) and got two tickets center row c in orchestra!
Rushed the show this morning- got their a little after 9 and there was about 15 people ahead of me. Got 2 tickets in the Front Mezzanine, Row C off to the side. View was great and the show was awesome!!

When I rushed I got a close to center orchestra seat. When I did Telecharge offers I got a terrible way over to the side orchestra seat that cost 3 times as much. Go figure.

Not much to figure, since your rush ticket was clearly a premium ticket that didn't sell. Another way of looking at it is that you still haven't paid for the equivalent of one full-priced ticket, and saw it twice.
Got there around 8:30 today, I was around 20ish in line. I got row B, center orchestra for the matinee. Really excited!

Any updates ...even from people who have just walked by the line? I'm trying to gauge how crazy things will be Saturday. I can go early. I just don't want to go unnecessarily early and be tired for the show or go too late and miss out on tickets.

Rushed on Sunday. Box office opened at noon, I got there probably about 12:20 or so and got Orchestra Row R Seat 14. There were just a couple people in front of me in line at the time so I don't think there was much of one to begin with. I walked past around 10 and was a little unsure when I saw the line...but realized it was for The Color Purple.

I rushed on Sunday two weeks ago. I got there around 8:45 and was 4th in line. The box office opened at 11 not 12 which worked out better. I got front row center (A104)
Is it still on TDF? Are those seats as good usually as the rush seats?
its not on TDF anymore, it sold on it pretty fast after the announcement of their closing

Do you think 7 would be early enough to go tomorrow? Too early?
I went to the box office yesterday for last night's show with a Playbill code in the event there was no rush available. The girl at the box office said there likely wouldn't be a rush all weekend since it's nearly sold out. There was a sign that said "No Rush Today" as well. So... you can give it a shot, but I don't know that getting there early will matter. I say check with the discount code online and splurge if you have to see it.

I just checked earlier, there are a ton of seats for both performances. I mean, I understand if they're not selling rush, but they're not sold out.

I rushed for tonight's performance. Got there at 7:50 and was 10th in line (tickets 15 and 16). First person got there at 5am. Line grew quickly after 8am, with at least 50 people in line by the time the box office opened. Got Mezz B21-23.
Had a ticket for next month so I'm very glad I was able to work things out and see it.

I asked the box office workers today. I was told they will sell rush tickets for tomorrow's matinee performance but not for the final evening one.
