In Adele's Carpool Karaoke video with James Corden, he brought up the possibility of Adele writing the score for a musical. I think a musical with a score by Adele would be amazing, but would you go and see it?
I would personally love it, though I'm not sure she'd be a great musical theatre composer. I would love to be wrong, but I also don't think she would want to write one.
I totally agree with Jshan05. She writes very well but maybe it'll turn into something not very successful like The Last Ship with Sting. But then again, many people like her.
I'm down as long as it is not another damn biopic musical.

I think she could write songs for a musical that's about some romantic relationship, but I don't think she'd want to really. I'd love for her to win a Tony but I think I'd rather see her star in a musical.
I believe she's mentioned before that she's not a theatre fan.
Does each ticket sold come with a free box of Kleenex and a razor blade to slit your wrists after the 25th "he don't love me no more" ballad?
Matt, you forgot to throw in the discount coupon for counseling.

I know you HATE the ground I walk on Matt but I have to wholeheartedly agree with you.
Many a pop or rock phenomenon have learned that Broadway is a whole different animal...

It would be one dirge after another. "Dirge" the musical with no melody.
I'd rather see Adele in a musical than write one. If she were to write one, I'd rather her collaborate with someone to balance out her pathos.

HA! Are you sure that's not a Sam Smith musical?
