Maybe the theory is that they can reward it next year rather than giving it the award two years in a row? The drama league awards work like that right?

A friend floated a theory: many of these voters probably did not see Hamilton. Anyone can become a Drama League member and therefore a voter. They're not given comps to shows to ensure viewing.

No surprise here. I've seen them all and overall this is the one I want to see the most again. One of the most beautiful and fulfilling nights I have ever had in the Theatre. And based on the Box Office, I am not alone in that opinion. Hamilton will win Everything next year, as well it should.
