Haven't seen any posts about this yet. I know Karl was involved in workshops for this show, so I'm not surprised he's doing it. I saw Margo Seibert as Ariel in a regional production of Footloose in 2003 and she was really fantastic. Thrilled she's making her Broadway debut in a starring role. She played Natalie in Next to Normal with Heidi Blickenstaff this summer.

I'm glad Andy Karl is confirmed. I thought he was exceptional in the workshop footage from a while back. The role will be a good fit for him.
Haven't seen any of thw workshop video but I am so happy Andy Karl got the gig. He has been exceptional in everything I've seen (he was the only reason I saw Jersey Boys) and I am certain he will lend that 'star quality' to Rocky

Seems to be a good choice.
I couldn't be happier for Andy. He's a great guy with lots of talent and is HOT.

_seth myers.
While I was secretly hoping that ROCKY would bring the amazing Drew Sarich back to Broadway, there's really no one else I'd want to see take that role other than Andy Karl. He's gonna kill it.

My thoughts exactly. I was hoping it would bring Drew back, but he just announced on twitter yesterday he's extended his run with the show in Germany through May.
Oh that's good news to hear. If we can't enjoy him, at least the Germans will!
I really think Margo is going to be a refreshing new face on Broadway. I have seen her in a few regional productions, and her acting is beautifully grounded and her voice has this smoky quality to it that is so unique and exciting! Very excited to see this!
